Spent a week in the ICU and a week in recovery this year, didn’t sleep at all. They’d wake you up in the middle of the night to run tests or do blood work. Shit was stupid. How am I supposed to recover when you won’t let me sleep?

Good luck finding a surgeon that ist not chronically overworked.
It's sad honestly
I had my ear drum replaced and some of my mastoid bone shaved off. The surgeon is also a general ear doctor. He straight up said he is a salary employee and doesn't overwork himself because he likes to work on cars just as much as the ear. Smartest doctor I have ever had. Maybe I was lucky as hell to get him. He did the surgery with basically no issue. So happy he does college lectures on his free time because people deserve his knowledge.
