Amazing footage! That looks like a huge (a fully grown trout/salmon?) fish the Heron caught! The fish was struggling, but the hungry bird managed to fully consume (alive?!) it all okay? It looked like the unlucky thing was still desperately kicking inside too! I wonder, does the large fish stand any chance of escaping if eaten in that condition? Maybe it can turn around inside the elastic neck/stomach and has a chance of survival here.

Went sailing with the family at dromeer on lough derg. Beautiful place and lovely people. I remember sailing to a small island on the lake, with an old ruin

Another gathering of animal abusers....

July 1996 I stayed for a week in a lovely 1900s wooden bungalow/chalet on the banks of the lough. Neneah Tipp was the nearest town. Every day the torrential rain would start at dawn and continued until late evening when the sky cleared completely and the stars shone. I have never known weather like it, the ceaseless rain and mist was so thick you couldn't see more than 20m across the lough. Sadly the lough due to farm fertiliser run off was completely devoid of fish life. The main reason for our trip, but we fell foul of an over enthusiastic tourist board who claimed that where we were staying was a fantastic fishing area. Locals soon put us straight stating fish hadn't been caught there for over 20 years and then we began to notice the 'Save Lough Derg' posters. Accusing local farmers and council officials of allowing unregulated amounts of fertilisers and pesticides to be run off in to the lough.

I love these videos', but, this is the third I have watched where donkeys are almost crippled with really bad hooves. I do not understand as the horses look well tendered. That lad on the horse is a star, he has a fantastic singing voice.
