i'm pre ordering this rn. i'm not really up to date with all new card ingame recently, that's why my only deck till today is Barbara, Ganyu, Sucrose but i still can manage to duel every weekly in term of physical cards i want collect all of it, i like collecting tcg like MTG, Pokemon, Wixoss, etc but not for playing, that's why i straight up pre ordering the booster pack only

It seems like it'd be a bit of a pain trying to find all of accessory cards you need for a deck. Do you really need all of them to play the game? Like Mona alone needs 3 other cards for her skill summon, ult status, and passive, but she doesn't even have a starter deck so there's no way of guarenteeing you get them. That's not considering all of the optional stuff too like her talent or lingering freeze/bloom reactions... Although, I guess that's where the "trading" part in trading card game comes in. Maybe this was meant for collectors more than for gameplay, but even then is the collecting good? To be honest I'm only a little familiar with Pokemon as a TCG so I don't know what the baselines for TCG is, so I'm not sure if this is really good or really bad. But most of the rare grade 4 alternate arts seem underwhelming. Like the chicken as you mentioned barely changed, but when I checked the links a lot of other cards seem kinda plain to me too. I'm not trying to be a hater, so sorry if I come off that way. By the way, the card buying guide on Google Docs has suggestions on. It's not as bad as full on editing, but I think even suggestions on can lead to some amount of griefing.

I just forced myself to do tcg thingy in game for battlepass then youtube recomends me this. That is just evil...... Also, you could just copy paste cards from game and print them yourself lol.

Ouch, I had bought 1 booster box and 3 boosters pack (to open). My friend will hand carry those back. Looking at those, I will probably save the box for display lol. I don’t play tcg, I only need Zhongli G0 to G4 and his weapon for collection lol so instead of opening and gambling, I will just buy it individually 😂. Oh I should had bought the dice box later too.

Feels like such a 3.3 deck. Back when the game was simple and fun. I can't imagine they will add many modern cards. Imagine pulling a Sigewinne and the entire card is just covered in text or keeping up with the calculations of Freminet's Pers Timer. Would feel more like a chore than a gameplay feature. Or imagine playing consecrated beasts and your entire deck fills up with bonecrunchers, but your booster pack only came with 2. Or if you clone your opponents card with Sir Arthur but you don't carry the same card as they do. TCG was never designed to be a physical game and it always was supposed to be digital only. I seriously doubt Mihoyo will do anything of note with this, considering how they treat the digital game where everything is easier to do. They didn't even get Diluc's image right. Where's the eagle? I feel like this might be just a quick cash grab from fans, considering the card quality isn't really superb either. Especially the colors, though that might be the video footage, but they didn't look all that accurate to me. I've seen sellers on Etsy do this better as well. I recommend you check out how they tackled this problem, there's really creative solutions out there, though it will be outdated by this point as well.

Are you sure that this thing will get a global version? Maybe I don't understand a lot about tcg stuff but now I'm curious about it.

Gotta love the tools the physical version uses to track things like HP, Energy, and status effects. I, a dice goblin, am so going to use the dice in a certain tabletop game other than Genius Invokation TCG. As for the cards, I just wanna collect them casually and give a few as gifts. I know a certain someone who would enjoy Collei and Sucrose cards. Stinks that there's no Tartaglia or Xingqiu...at least in this video...but they're my favorite characters.

Kinda bad that every pack contains only 1 character card. On aliexpress, you can get custom made booster boxes just with character cards, that's so much better, than getting food and elemental cards.
