Left my go pro at home on accident and had to make the most of shooting with my iphone 7 plus. Fishing an in coming tide in Santa Monica started out slow but once I found some water with out seaweed hit a few Leopard Sharks, some Yellowfin Croaker, a Barred Surfperch session ended with a nice 16"-17" Corbina!!

Found a vintage Mitchel Garcia 300 and a 7' Cherry Wood fishing rod in a trash can at a car wash in North Hollywood took it out to the surf and caught some nice Yellowfin Coaker.

Broke my rod trying to put it in the car but made the most of it. Had a super fun day surf fishing in Santa Monica and the Dockweiler, picked up a beautiful corbina actually 19.6" and 2lb hard fighting yellowfin croaker.
