My dad bought a Shopsmith Mark V in 1981. When I got it operational in 2024 i upgraded the table system. Later i added the double tilt feature. Now I'm waiting on a new, upgraded headstock. The only original parts are the legs and bench/way tubes. I am thinking about replacing them, as i have reassembled the old parts into nearly the original whole. I will soon have two Shopsmith machines, a Mark V and a Mark 7. Which is the true machine?
