It’s nice to know that my 2009 Mercury Mariner is in better condition than this car. It feels like an old car but it doesn’t feel like a beater. I wouldn’t do this to my car because it’s the only car I have.

That Rogue was my first car. Everyone would crap on my CVT every time. I didn’t have top speed but always had acceleration on my friends cars especially when I hit that little overdrive button on the shifter. My friend put over 10k into his new edge mustang and my CVT would just taunt his shifting abilities on acceleration. It pissed him off. Would deff buy one to beat the hell out of it and take it further.

Im 39 but back in 2002 me and 3 of my boys all bought a Honda accord beater together and we all lost our V cards in that thing we called it Hanzo the Honda lol. That whole thing was a fkn Biohazard on wheels by the end. A las it was not meant for long and we flipped Honzo into a ditch jumping him at a bonefire party. And I am 100% certain 90% of my Fondest Memories of my teen years are tied to that beater in some way. I rarely support kids giving advice to kids but I stand behind this. Young dudes should 100% definitely get a beater car with their friends just don't drink when doing beater activities you shouldn't be drinking at all but I know you will, so be smart if you're going to do it. Yea when I was a teen aged and early 20s we could afford to get an old beater bucket and hack it up turn a 200$ Saturn wagon into a truck or take an old neon for 400$ and slap a tuurbo set up on it from mid match junk yard parts and beat it till it blows . Now if you want to do that u have to take out a bank loan to get a beater. Your lucky if u can have a daily driver to get to work everyday….
