Thanks Ask Mom for your reply...my wife and I have never, thankfully, had an emergency, with the exception of a very few-and-far-between short power interruptions (less than 8 hours) but we still ALWAYS have a year's worth of essentials, JUST IN CASE! We date all canned, packaged and frozen foods as they're purchased and use them in order, re-stocking as they're used. That way, there's always that one year supply. One other precaution I take is never letting our car get below 3/4 tank. Some may think I'm paranoid but I really don't care. The old Boy Scout motto BE PREPARED as is valid now as it was way back when! My regards to you ASK MOM! Bob in southern Ontario, Canada.

For years, my wife and I have ALWAYS had a one year supply of food and essential supplies. Most canned goods are good for at least a year and a half. Same with bottled water. We have a water filter with a 1,000 gallon filter supply, an airtight wood stove with a one year supply of wood, a small wood cook stove, a supply of kerosene and four lanterns, 500 candles, etc. etc. There's an old adage that is SO TRUE! Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

You are absolutely fabulous. What stores do you usually do your grocery shopping at? Do you ever stock up on anything like soda or water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? I think it would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip

I agree, recovery with a medicine free delivery is SO much better! And I felt better immediately after my kiddo was born. Yes it was painful, but so much worth it!

Sorry your leaf came in broke! Our table was wrong like, twice, they had to replace it.. and the chairs.. couldn't get the stain color right, and, or the shape of the tabletop. Pretty expensive mistakes, but at least it was fixed. I am glad you have the table now! Enjoy it!
