I got goosebumps with this scene, not because of the scene, but because of the music. Bloc Party is my favorite band and I didn't expect to hear them while watching the series.

Last year around June, I was in love with this song, thinking about my girlfriend, my first true love. She was the first person who loved me back for who I am. At that moment, I felt like Ted from. A year has passed, and it's been a week since she left me. This song used to give me goosebumps because it made me think of her. Now, it brings tears because it still makes me think of her. I remember the times we were together, and the mornings I listened to it on my way to work, feeling love for her and thinking about her constantly. Now I’m more like Marshall at this Scene.

After my then-boyfriend and I had broken up, we still had concert tickets for the Silent Alarm tour of 2018 halfway across Europe. We decided to go anyways, although we were both heartbroken. In the last third of This Modern Love, confetti started raining down and we basically fell onto each other's mouths, both sobbing. The song had already meant so much to each of us before we met, and let me tell you that we didn't stay exes for long after that concert (so I guess that makes him my then-and-now boyfriend). To this day, we can still sit together, watch this scene on repeat and feel all the feels 😅
