God pre ordained what sinful men did to Jesus didn’t He? Acts 4:27-28. Does that mean He is guilty of that sin?

@@hccwlv According to your systematic yes he would be guilty of it. As "all things that come to pass" are in the catechisms and propogated by your soteriological stance. All has to include sin and the fall of Adam. So he controlled those individuals to make those actions happen, like a puppet master to be able to bring it about? Or Rather his omniscience that knows all things and has chosen and determined for his son to to die a specific way through mans libertarian free will? For example if Messiah Christ came before the Romans existed he'd of had died another way to pay for sins. Huge conjecture there I know but ultimately He's omniscient not Omnideterministic. Foreknowledge doesn't mean causation.

@@sammanning7664 With respect, Sam, I think you’re misrepresenting my position here. The debate isn’t over foreknowledge but over predestination, there’s a difference. Acts 4:27-28 doesn’t say that God had a ‘passive foreknowledge’ of what sinful men would do to Jesus, it says that God determined these things to be done beforehand. There is a whole world of difference between passive foreknowledge and pre-determination. Based on this passage alone you must concede at the very least that the Bible teaches that God pre-determines ‘some sins.’ And furthermore, Ephesians 1:11 and Romans 8 teach that God works ‘all things’ according to the counsel of His will, and that ‘all things’ work together for good to them that love God. According to scripture God’s sovereignty even over evil does not make God guilty of that evil. He is not the one committing the sin, therefore He is not guilty of it. Take a look at Isaiah 10:5-19, God raises up Assyria and sends it against sinful people but it is Assyria that is held accountable for their sins, not God, even though God decreed that they should go and destroy.

@hccwlv I don't believe I am miss representing it because your statement on the short video was God decrees all things, so the topic is still, is God the author of sin? So if God has predetermined if they've been decided and established before the foundations of the world that these 'some sins' as you suppose how does that not make him the author of it? How is he exempt from it if he has "decreed it to come to pass" you can't remove accountability when you're the instigator of it. Why does Jeremiah 19:5 say God didn't decree child sacrifices to Molech if God indeed has decreed all things to come to pass?

I have also responded to your claim that I am teaching that God is the author of sin referencing another text from Isaiah. If you can offer an interpretation of Acts 4:27-28 that supports your position then I’m happy to hear it.
