It was a great anime don't get me wrong it just had so much in it that was unnecessary it could've been shorter and way more effective with the message it was trying to get acrosss

I think of the scenes where Tenma helps a doctor in the countryside, it was really peaceful and it was very touching when he saved the mother of the police officer there.🥹

Siempre tuve un debate sobre si considerar que a Johan cómo alguien sensible o que simplemente fuese un psicópata. Sus actos de consideración por su hermana, el apego a su madre, y la extraña interpretación de la backstory de Nina y de cómo Johan, aún sin ser su historia, sentía el mismo dolor de Nina al contarla, y la escena en dónde Nina afirma que Johan lloró en la cabaña del vampiro al ver los bocetos de Bonaparta me hace dudar de que Johan sea inherentemente malvado. Al igual que con Grimmer, Roberto, Christof y el mismo Johan, el Kinderheim 511 desmoralizó a docenas de niños al punto de convertirlos en una antítesis a la naturaleza humana.

Doesn anybody knows if there is a score of this OST? A pdf, or paper print, or whatever? I tried the major outlets, but to no avail... The orchestration is extraordinarily beautiful, a complete lesson in merging and using the different families of instruments. Very very beautiful, and a perfect musical frame for the series.

One of the best series I've seen. The writing is top shelf, the characters have such a poignant humanity to them, even the ones supporting the story only for one or two episodes (the guy for whom Roberto was working, the first time he appears, for example). The OST is absolutely stunning, and I, as a musician and composer, couldn't imagine a better musical frame, and this particular piece always managed to hit an emotional summit. The composer is truly versed, and the way he uses woodwinds with the strings main sound is masterful. There is such complexity, such sadness, such fragility and loneliness, it is really a masterpiece.

Great anime! All colors of humanity in there.
