For my money, this is the greatest Pyramid game ever played.
Well, this was a big deal. $100,000.00 back then is equivalent to $266,526.63 today.
dang if he didn't get "fasten" with the seat belt clue there's nothing else to say. What else do you fasten?
Never understood why they allowed the audience to swarm the stage like that
Pitch invasion!!!!
$100,000 will bring out all kinds of family and friends…
Oh, you came SO close to beating Billy!
MG McCormick was on Super Password in 1985 and then went on to do $100,000 Pyramid in 1988. I'm guessing his love playing on game show and shows really well in my mind!
All I can say is: KA-CHING, baby!
What did they do throw open the doors to the back alley? 😂
1:26 THEY STORMED THE COURT!!!
Things that sag........An old man's scrotum. Sexist pig.
What a frisbee would say? Entire audience rushed the stage, surely he made unwelcoming friends.
An old woman's breast. Greatest clue ever.
Barry Jenner's celebration was top tier. He was more excited for the win than the guy that got the money.
That bro hug was *FIERCE!*
Please get those people out of there! They all need to be tested for drugs!!
"An old woman's breasts." That's just genius!
An old woman’s breasts, best clue ever! 😂
Look at all his new friends
Thought they would have harder questions for 100,000.
Wait, did they let the whole audience up?
Never understood why this show ever got popular. The game in itself is just Password but the Lightning Round is the main game and the bonus game is just subjects. The theme song is awful and was already dated by the time this show premiered, and the production of this show looks very cheap to say the least. I think the only reason it got popular was because of the amount of money it was giving away and it had a host with name value.
Bob Stewart created both shows. Your opinion is going to be in the minority here.
@@davidjackino8831 And that's fine, I don't have to have the opinion of the majority. In my eyes Bob Stewart seemed like he went loony after Password cause nearly every game show he made after that was some derivative of Password, all word games that featured celebrity-civilian pairs. Nearly all of them bombed but this show managed to survive because it had one trick up it's sleeve, the amount of money it was giving away.
$100k in 1985 = $292k in 2024. I'd be excited too.
Did the $100,000 Pyramid EVER get to a point where they STOPPED having a huge crowd of people come from the audience onto the game floor after a $100,000 win? I mean really. That's so distracting.
I never liked Dick Clark as a host. A little too nonchalant.
I believe most of those people were just people from the crowd that were excited for him.
Looks like the whole audience came rushing up!
The whole da*n audience!!!😲
OMG did the entire audience come on stage lolol ..congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
Why did 286 people run on stage?
"Things You Accept!" The Ultimate $100,000 Words!
Dick Clark is like, “Yoo- Hoo!!” We gotta get these people off the stage 😂
Why is that the whole audience that K out to congratulate the player? Sure, look like it
1:11 The greatest clue ever and with 100,000 on the line there is NO TIME for even a smirk. 😅😅
That reword to "fasten" is suspect as heck.
All these people rushing him are definitely trying to get some of that money. LOL!
There was a time, a long time ago, when celebrities celebrated regular people winning a lot of money. Dick Clark was the BEST
I put this in my Classic video list! Has to be close to a record OMG!!!!
He knew the answers, before they started.
Arguably this shows Pyramid bonus rounds were the most exciting in game show history. So great when when the celebs would get as excited or more than the contestants.
0:26 0:40 0:53 8:52
He should have gotten $200,000 for that.
The total is $133,650 THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE :D
😂😂 things that sag 😅
1:14 🎶 *NOW, WAAAAAIT A MIN-UTE...* 🎶🎶 1:18: 🎶 *YA KNOW YA MAKE ME WONNA SHOUT!! KICK MY HEELS UP N SHOUT!! THROW MY HEAD BACK N...* 🎶🎶🙃🙃🙃
Was a bunch of money then. Now that won't buy a new truck.
Wow, I never seen so many people come up on a stage at once
Somebody has a tape for a $25,000 Pyramid >PILOT< from 1993 that was supposed to air before The Price is Right...Yes 1993. But it "Sande Stewart told Davidson he had to quit doing the Lucky Day USA contestants on USA Network if he were to host the show." 100,000 views/likes are to be rewarded if it were to be seen. Where are ya, *L0bster* ?
