True friend, I realized both. And that makes me think of the disdain that is made of Asami in this group, it seems that only M&M exists, when I have seen Lovebites twice at festivals and I can tell you that her voice, without being edited or remastered, sounds much stronger and powerful than on live DVDs.

One of the most amazing performances ever! I'm a classically trained, 74 year old rock musician, and I can honestly say, that this was phenomenal! I've never seen or heard anything like this! ps. My favorite bands and singers are all women! They're taking over! The Warning, Lovebites, Band-Maid, Angelina Jordan, Aurora, and lp. They are all great. Music is in good shape with these ladies showing the way!! ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

I've seen one or two reactor comments saying Miyako can seem bit humourless, dour even, on stage. Well, to them I say take a look at this recent video on her own 'Miyako Official' RUclips channel (ruclips.net/video/zODuQZ0Ka6k/видео.html). Here she comes across as very humble (apologises for not updating for a while, also admits she lost confidence a bit when the band wouldn't adopt some of her songs and told her she could do better); but in her intro she also smiles and laughs plenty. The video shows how she composes songs, so you'll be left in no doubt either as to her musical genius and compositional mastery. Interesting that as she explains her methods and processes she's relaxed and chatty, but put an instrument (any instrument!) in her hands and on comes the game face, right down to the slantendicular glance. This is a seriously serious musician. In sum, as another reactor said elsewhere, let's all just be grateful that we have the privilege of living in a world with Miyako in it . . .

Excellent review on their best album 50+ years on! So hopefully not their swan song.
