Yes, I will typically drop 1 tooth in the rear from my qualifying gear. I do it to settle the car when on the throttle and to keep the engine loaded at the end of the straights

Its all about a balance between throttle, breaks, and steering input. I drag breaks a little bit until the center of the corner but most of the work is with throttle. The most important thing is keeping the car evenly loaded or “on the bars” getting into the corner by always being on the throttle or breaks, getting off the pedals will unload the car. Otherwise, slow down your entry until you get the car where you want it, then pick up speed again, and don’t be afraid of the slick, it can be used as a crutch to get the car free. Its kind of hard to explain the bottom but i hope i could help

@MackeyAutosport that is 1 thing I'll give Hyper. They have some of the best support in the business. Everyone here in Pa mainly runs Hypers. I'm the odd man out. I don't run a hyper dont have anythingagainst them. I just like being different and choose to run another local chassis builder in the area. Also run a Guhl injection vs the Evo or Engler.
