I have a KA2284 LED sound meter module but I'm not sure how to bring the audio into it. Probably would use a microphone to start with.

Beer2D2 and I went to RoboGames 2024 in San Jose, Ca. He won a Bronze Medal in the Kientic Art division. Beer2D2 is a Homebrewed Robot built using a 5 Liter Heineken mini beer Keg. He was originally built in 2010 for RoboGames. He is now on a second rebuild. The Robot uses 4 drive train motors (Hacked Servos) two Vantec rdfr motor speed controllers a 2.4 Ghz Radio control for basic maneuvering. He also runs in Autonomus Mode using a Huskylens Video camera and an Arduino. He has a 15 Watt Stereo sound system a Bluetooth Audio reciever. A Color Organ that blinks Leds to the Audio signals. He has 15 sensors read by an a second Arduino that Talks to a Android Phone through another Bluetooth connection and a custom app using Voice Recognition and Text to Speech. He's basically a Talking Tricorder and entertainment Robot But that's not all he even has a brand new Trailer and he should finally be able to actually deliver a Real Beer...!

Great video, thanks for sharing. I could not get a relay to work by connecting the capacitive sensor wire to ground. I had to use a 100pF disk capacitor in line between the sensor and ground to trigger the circuit. I noticed that if I trigger in the middle of an animation, it sometimes ignores the signal. I also noticed that sometimes when turning the power on, he would not start animating, so I connected a wire to the tilt switch in the head and briefly touched it to +5V to force him to wake up and start animating immediately. In total, I ended up using 3 relays to control (power on/of, wake, force trigger).

This breaks practically every OSHA regulation in the book. …and I freakin love it.

you said controlled by Arduino. How would you do that? I controlled one last year with a motion sensor but don't know how to trigger it by Arduino. I have a prop i would like to make for this year and can't seem to find anything one controlling the sprite with Arduino

hello ..can you please tell me code for it..m using bitvoicer server with built in microphone.

A simple data glove I made from a work glove, five FSR Flex Sensors that I got from Adafruit, plus some heat shrink and some hot glue. The heat shrink was glued to the top of the gloves fingers and the flexible sensors are slid inside of it. 5 vdc is connected to one side of the flexible sensor and a 10k ohm resistor is connected to the other side to ground a wire is connected at the junction between the sensor and the resistor to create a voltage divider. An Arduino UNO reads the voltage from the wire and converts it to a decimal number. That number is converted into the output positions for the servos that control the fingers on the 3D printed robotic hand.
