Good question, do you use the 12-35 2.8 first generation?
It was the first generation.
@@yannicksafraoui1189 cool.
@@yannicksafraoui1189 While people are discussing what the difference is between dual IS 1 and 2, you show shooting stable handheld footage with lens stabilization alone.
Is it the first version of the 12-35 or the second ?
The first
@@yannicksafraoui1189thanks ! do you recommend it ? I'm wondering if I should take the first or the second version🤔
I don't think there is much difference with v2
Love it 👍
Красиво! не хватает звука города
it s the 50 mmm bro?
Beautiful! Amazing shots!
Great color grade
Finally, a hand held test! This was great. Did you do any stabilization in post?
Hi Samphe. Thank you ! I did use post stabilisation. Since then I got the G80 and the G9 which have ibis so I don't use post stab anymore as it is time consuming and not perfect. Your camping video was lovely and not too shaking considering that the 25mm lens is not stabilized with the G7. 🙂 If you have any other question feel free to ask.
Beautiful.and i guess i is just hand-holding ?
Thanks. Yes it was handheld
Hey man! Youre so great,, and humble person I want to buy this lens ,, How in the low light? I still using g7
Hi Thanks for your comment. It is ok for low light. But I tend to use a f1.8 lens for that.
@@yannicksafraoui1189 what the max iso in low light? I use 1600, ss 50,, the result looks grainy..
@@ArdiNugrohocilacap 1600 Iso is ok usually on the G7 but it depends on the scene. More than that is not really great. Low light is not the strength of m43
was this including your in body stabilization?
There is no ibis on the G7
@@yannicksafraoui1189 Wow it looks great. Were you holding just camera and lens? or was it on a rig or anything? Thanks !
@@tlfilms207 Thanks. It was hand-held using the camera strap with warp stab in post. I have the G9 now and you can do the same without warp stabilisation.
Nice video! How is the OIS? Can you see the difference when it’s on ?
very good, like
What settings did you use to get to focus the Lense with the camera? I have the canon 50mm and adaptor for my G7 but am unable to figure out specific settings for it to focus.
Hey beautiful...you still use g7 with the Canon fd 50 mm?
You looked @ 0:35 too.
This is awesome! Seriously considering this lens.
Awesome
nice video!
Thanks again i just bought a lens like yours☺
hi very nice shoot. Any detail added in post?
Thanks. Do you mean sharpening ? I guess not but I made this a long time ago.
ok thanks a lot it looks sharp!
Great video man!
Thanks Andrei
Did you use a gimbal, hand held or glidecam with the footage or was it handheld with warp stabilization? I know the G9's stabalization is amazing.
All handheld and no warp stab The G9's stabilization is great
Beautifully shot and edited.
Thanks
Did you use continuous AF?
Yes. I forced myself to use only continious AF to test its behaviour.
I couldn't find any customization for it, seems like it's just on or off. Were you able to tweak it at all?
@@ZachVolker There are no settings to tweak it in video but the different af zones modes are useful. I use the central spot or the face detection mode which works really well for body tracking if you tap the screen to tell the camera which body to follow.
Nice video !! How did you stabilize that well ?
Thanks. A combination of lens stabilisation, camera strap, practice, warp stabilisation.
Nicee 📷🔥
Very nice and clear !! What settings did you use for the video ?
Thanks. Do you mean what aperture, ss and iso ?
Video Profile(natural,cinelike-d... contrast ,noise etc) ????
I used cinelikeD all at 0 and graded in Premiere.
Thank you Yannick !!
Agréable à regarder
Hi i have a question. Is that all scenes was recorded on at aperture 2.8 or above/higher?
Dawid Mucha Hi. From 2.8 to 5.6. F2.8 when there is background blur.
Yannick Safraoui Ok thanks and what focus you had set? Auto manual?
Dawid Mucha All manual focus
That cat looked like a lion
Uh changes syncing with rhythm of music is blah
Sure, sure. But blah to one person is art to another. I am sure the person who made the video does not share your view.
Puedo robar tus tomas? 😭😍🙏
Is this lens the 'Canon 50mm F1.4 Ultrasonic'?
Bruno Felix Do you mean USM lens ? No this lens has no autofocus as it is a vintage FD lens
Which speedbooster did you use?
99Zimbo I didn't use any in this video. It was a dummy adapter.
So crisp and steady, I think I will get this lens
song?
Timroff It is in the description.
how is this even possible with handheld??
So relaxing. Nice
Such a nice and peaceful video. Congratulation on your work. 💯
Quentin Furic Thanks Quentin
which grading have you used?
Francesco Novecento Buttiglieri I used Lumetri in Premiere Pro
i love my g7
Where do I get this same adapter to connect G7s to Canon?

liana ANDRIAMANAMISATA Thanks Liana
thank you for the effort and the sharing. you footage was lovely! nicely sharp and the focus was spot on. though the 12-35 is slightly less than a current lens, you have demonstrated that it is a first rate performer. i did notice your footage was all daylight exteriors. how does the 12-35 perform indoors with natural daylight? i do interviews often relying on natural window light. thanks in advance for any thoughts you care to share. thumbs up.
smalltalk.productions Thanks. Considering sharpness it would perform even better without the nd fader used for outdoors.
Great shots and cut!! I love what you've done with the 12-35 and want to get it too!
Anand Sunwar Thanks man
Hello Which adapter did you use for Canon FD 50mm F1.4 to work in Panasonic G7

Does Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens work with Panasonic G7 ? I am an amateur
sushan mool Some adapters have an electronic connection which can talk to the lens but it is not cheap. Otherwise you can have a dumb adapter but no autofocus or iris control.
One question: Panasonic LUMIX G 25mm f/1.7 Lens or Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO 45-150mm f/4.0-5.6. Which one would you prefer for Panasonic G7?
sushan mool These two lenses are for very different situations. I had both.
I have 45-150 mm lens at the moment. and I am thinking of getting 25 mm as well. Is it worth the investment? Also, do you have any video for the tutorials for the basic photography techniques?
sushan mool Yes it is well worth the price and pretty good for low light. You can find some good tutorials here ruclips.net/user/VistaClues
How does this compare the to Panasonic 25mm F1.7?
Rexx Reviews I also have the Panasonic 25mm. The focal length is half of the 50 so you have a larger point of view. The image has more constrast and a more clinical look.
me too!
