What did that tesla like unit run you on the 2012 GS?

I also have a 50 delux 2 door, with a camaro sub frame under it, and the subframe is to wide, it's from a 78 Z28 and the tires rub the front fenders. I was told that if you're going to sub frame it, you need to find a sub frame from an older 1970 -72 nova or 67-70 camaro, because even though you can buy shorter a arms for the newer s frames it's not very cost effective. Also the body should be removed so that the welding can be done to the top of the frame ,where the the graft to the original frame is, otherwise it's not safe! I really enjoy the Videos wish I was 20 yrs younger.

Yeah instructions sucked putting these together. Still not sure what 2 of my assist arms or used for lol. Best tip bolt the balancer to the ground. I also had to custom cut L brackets for the tire change extension kit. Great Review though.

I like how you used the existing 1950 body mounts. Regarding the rear end, one from an S10 4X4 works well.

Why would you Not have the 427 Edition?

I've got one of these on order. I'd also like to flush mount. What size anchors and length of bolt is needed? I'd like to get the hardware and be ready to mount this when it arrives. Good video. Thanks

If it were me, I'd leave the body mostly as is. Keep the carb'd SBC with the Camaro rear, but add a 4 speed. As for the seized engine, don't give up yet. Add some acetone to the Mystery oil, and use a plumbers wrench on the crank pulley with a long pipe. Nearly all the seized engines I work on I am able to free up.

Love your vids and this build. I would love to see the “parts car” into a reliable daily runner that looked like it was dragged from the fields. But not until you finish the this one first.

Fix it up! Use whatever parts you have. Rat rod sounds bad, make it a reliable driver. I don’t like turbo 350’s, they just need another gear.
