I watch a lot of video tours people put on RUclips, among all the cities I wish I cld see, an others as Chicago…which I haven’t been too in years. I was in US Navy Waukegan; working in from beginning 95-96 Great Lakes Naval Hospital; it’s been so many years 8 w/o a car..I didn’t see near what I wanted from Chicago 👉🏻I adore your amazing sense of humor, the way you talk to the customers..I give you a 5 star rating Followed just off this one video, but many more I wish to view an like Could you do me one favor? I have a map of greater Chi-town neighborhoods on my phone..when you leave Skokie and enter another neighborhood..like Evanston, Rogers Park. Or whatever..could you say…”okay..we’re now entering Evanston (for example). I just want to picture what each district neighborhood looks like, far as architecture of buildings, homes Love the snow fall! I loved that little trek through the woods (that wooded area where you said we hadn’t driven here since spring)..wondered if that was still Skokie I saw the college you mentioned (and thanks for pointing out stuff as that. I looked it up and found you are low in Dunning

Next time drive the road that runs along the Skokie Swift Yellow line train. How could u not go to Dempster or Oakton. Used to use the yellow line rail to slang some serious weight in skokie. That Chi "Rock" and "powder" used to go for double up in skokie and Glencoe. We set up shop on the outskirts of skoie near the yellow line. When the bust came we can always escape through the rails back in the interior of Chicago where we could melt and be invisible. Made millions in Skokie and the yellow line was our silk road. Shout out to Skokie and the yellow line that acted as our silk road into the suburbs of Morton Grove, Niles, Golf, Sharmburg, Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Elk Grove, just deep in the burbs, but its thanks to the yellow line for making it all possible. One rail, the mighty Skokie Swift yellow line. Next time travel that road and pan out to that rail and know that changed both Skokie and my life for ever.

yep.. after Irving.Park Road to North Avenue "both directions" are one lane....STUPID...... don't get caught by a slow moving train on the tracks that cross Harlem ( where Fullerton ends ) What a nightmare anytime of the day.. train traffic all the way back to Bloomingdale Ave sometimes...No more left turns into Elmwood Park after Armitage to the crossing .. all cross streets going west off Harlem have been col-da-sacked off.. Still no word on the underpass for 76 Ave where the tracks cross Grand Ave...I Hate Harlem.....

My neighborhood (Montclare), it's like a suburban enclave within city limits over here, plus it's bordered by three suburbs (Oak Park, Elmwood Park & River Forest)...I believe it's one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago, and with us being on the far western edge of the city surrounded by the suburbs, we're shielded from the chaos and craziness that's deeper into the city.

I love Lincoln Square, it is one of my favorite places in Chicago, I spent a lot of time here when I lived in Albany Park. Great Food and cool bars to hang out in.

Is the neighborhood around the Metro/Smart Bar safe for ladies after dark?

I did a video months back and did the entire Milwaukee Ave from Downtown Chicago into the suburbs and took it all the way to the end in Gurnee, IL at US 41. Then did one or two videos taking it all the way back into Downtown to the end. Keep up the good work on the videos.

Unfortunately the oldest McDonalds in Des Plaines was torn down in 2018. It was located at 400 N. Lee St in Des Plaines. It was a McDonald's and converted to a museum. Not sure what location this is but the Lee St location is a vacant lot. There is an original McDonald's Museum but is located in Downey California. 10207 Lakewood Boulevard at Florence Avenue in Downey, California is a small hamburger stand. The chain started by founder Ray Kroc in 1955 in San Bernardino, California. Thanks for the videos.
