I'd agree with that very rare to find a dark souls boss fight that is just horrible, but some are definitely better than others

I think I unintentionally ruined this boss for myself by waiting so long before finding it although tbf I was more or less convinced that I had found all the shrines and with no real hints to secret classes I was like welp there's always next time

I got a full playthrough of the hd remake up on the channel wasn't originally going to do another playthrough but I've been told by others that they did enough in this remake to warrant another playthrough so im planning on streaming it soon enough plenty more videos coming

Whattttttttt what a lame divine skill no overkill money what's even the point then Ophelias divine I'm pretty convinced is the most broken divine skill in the game not even seeing them all yet but having 2x every action for 3 turns is just insanely useful no matter what is going on and then being able to have it be applied to multiple party members at the same time if you can get enough boost is bonkers

@boundbyfate9157 ophilias and primroses divine are prolly tied in my opinion. Lol if overkill damage was a thing you could rack up 10s of millions without trying and kill all challenge with just equipment or hired help... I get it though. Gil toss would have been more flashy

@@crono7589 yeah being able to just casually walk up to like a lvl1enemy and then nuking it with the divine skill would be a little too broken but man does it make her divine feel lackluster especially when compared to the others

That makes sense I was wondering why you could boost on collect and steal good to know it raises chance of success still haven't really played around with hired help since I figured the damage would suck on the low cost good to see that it does give some decent coverage for relatively cheap might have to play around with it more 8 turn defense boost sounds pretty nice

@boundbyfate9157 aye it's super helpful when bringing low levels up to speed or dealing with a tougher mob. Full party buff it's mental. Also the bandit is axe coverage but 800 for it when you have Alf is meh.. Tressa is pretty stupid if you put her on scholar the only thing she can't break is darkness lol

@@crono7589 I had a feeling she had a lot of utility but man being able to break everything but darkness seems pretty op

@boundbyfate9157 lol well beside sword ... ax, dagger and light.. are heavy on the wallet... so it's only really useful for emergency situations especially Light.. She could do it if you like being broke. I love her though she is pay to win personified. Just wait until you unlock her Divine.

@@crono7589 I imagine her divine is something along the lines of the bravely default merchant class where you use your money is used to calculate your damage essentially being the more money you have the more damage you did it was pretty broken especially late game when it would fix for capped max damage per turn for character although that was really broken so it might be a nerfed version of it look forward to seeing it

I got no idea what it is but it never feels like amputation ever does any real meaningful damage unless I boost multiple times into it maybe it's just the setup I got on alfin. But but I gotta gamble lol what's better then getting your entire party wiped on a boss fight because of it lol

I might have just uploaded the videos in the wrong order in that particular section. Check a video or 2 ahead/behind and you might find what you were looking for. I could have lost the video in some way too doesn't happen often but it's happened in the past.

Broooooooooooo I was so salty like wdym you healed the boss to full and then the buffs on top of it. Yeah not being able to break enemies much less bosses is brutal definitely makes the game like 10x harder than it should be which i don't even necessarily hate more so it turning into a bit of a stall made it a bit of a drag still a fun boss fight regardless. I probably should replace 1 especially when i can more or less hyper farm them with bewildering grace when it decides to bless me instead of trolling me

Thank you! I thought I was starting to see a pattern like you have mentioned here how all the physical attacks were separated from the magic with magic always being on the right and physical on the left then being broken down further into the weapon categories itself

I played this a while ago so iirc if you equip all 3 romantic earrings on 1 character you can make it so you use 0 soul stones when using magic as they reduce the cost of magic skills by 1/3 for each 1 equipped theres also a romantic stone which makes all skills free which i believe is won through 1 of the arenas you might have to beat the specific arena multiple times is the thing iirc and if thats the case i would have probably just used the arenas as a way to farm xp while working on getting the romantic stone

Oh no lol sorry I gave you hope the reason I say this is because my scorpion is lb50 666 54di/34dr with a 10% p atk and 10% p def perfume and it is rainbow bordered basically as maxed as a cs unit can possibly be

I want to say its off the dark souls 3 ost as for which song in particular I don't remember I would check it in my video editor but the video got set to the shadow realm along with my computer when it died. If its not from that ost then it would be from dark souls 1,2 bloodborne or the elden ring ost.

Thank You! As for your question I would play reloaded however it's still expensive at the time of recording this and i was given the persona 3 portable/ persona 4 golden bundle as a Christmas gift. If reloaded wasn't like $70+ still I would consider it and that's not even including the dlc which is gonna be like another $30+ whenever that comes out. Appreciate the question! If your liking the vision quest boss fights I'm gonna do all of vision quest and Margaret. I'll try Elizabeth but I can't promise I will beat her she's easily the hardest fight in the game. If your liking these I got a full playthrough of persona 4 and 5 as well while I continue to finish up my persona 3 portable playthrough!

That's fair by about how many do you think usually i start out with less but then by the time i finish these i generally add more than i originally planned lol to me sometimes it just feels like too much dead space so i'll add some and thats probably why there is as much as there was but ill try to do less

Commentary i generally reserve for my long form videos like my original stream of the game itself which i have here on my channel should be under the demon souls playlist or you can find it more than likely putting demon souls in the search. It hopefully gives people more of a reason to watch the long form videos so that way youtube will make some sort of attempt to actually push the channel out there more rather than me having to do it all on my own for the most part but its something i have considered,

This boss was pretty hard compared to a lot of the other bosses very limited room to move around getting hit by its charge attack was basically a 50-50 on if you kept on the map or insta died then you got iht flying so high and far out that magic didn't even track half the time and then you got a 2nd 1 that joins the fight because it wasn't hard enough i guess lol

Believe me not the way I wanted to play that fight would much have rather played it sword and shield but because i didn't know where the blacksmith was at the time it was either that or try to kill it with a +0 i think straight sword at the time which you could imagine how well that would go over so it was more out of a necessity than anything else

Oh believe me i far prefer the sword and shield gameplay hence why my elden ring, ds1,ds3 playthroughs/shorts have me using just that the reason im using magic here is because i didn't know where the black smith was to be forging my sword think it was just your standard straight sword at the time and as unsurprisingly as this may sound a +0 straight sword isn't exactly great as a weapon in comparison to where I was at so the turning to magic was more out of necessity rather than a choice i was wanting to make

I'm not exactly sure it was definitely a mix of ppl hitting but with that amount of power gathering it still would have hurt im thinking it might have been lamy 1 of the 2
