Now that our children are grown we bought a truck camper and are excited for the many adventures that await. So, we want to invite you to come along with us on all of our Heavenly Hikes and Travels.

#hiking #hotsprings #utah The Fifth Water Hot Springs in the Diamond Fork area of Utah was amazing. It is a 2 mile hike to get to the hot springs and I recommend going early to beat the crowds.

#traveltrip #truckcamper #hiking #travelvlog We camped along the Colorado River right outside of Moab, Utah. There are a lot of campgrounds all along the river up in a beautiful gorge. We drove through the gorge and up the La Sal Mountains. We ended up in Diamond Fork at a lovely campground.

Nice!
@@theblueblazebeyond4766 yes nice to do something different! 😊
Love your top ❤
@@jerithomas565 thank you! 😊
More wildlife than I would have thought.
@@beckylilly1540 yes I was surprised!
What a relaxing trip down a calm river.
@@FriskyTheBeaver yes it was very relaxing! 😊
Congratulation Suzi on your new hip. Glad you healed quickly to enjoin hiking again.
Thank You. Appreciate the encouragement.
Praise God for His goodness. I know many who have the same story. All said they had no regrets and important exercising afterwards was. Did Suzi sleep in her tent the whole trip?
I did. I use an inflatable pad on the ground and had no problems!!
I ADMIRE YOUR SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE AND WANDERLUST FROM DURHAM
Suzi's unwillingness to just give up and give in also helped her to heal and be successful in the process that has made all the difference!
@@theblueblazebeyond4766 yes!! Attitude is so important for recovery! 😊
@@heavenlyhikesandtravels241 Absolutely and plus she was already strong because she didn't give up even when she was feeling it in her hips before the surgery!
Inspirational..
Thank you! Hopefully there’s nothing to hold me back now. More hikes ahead 😊
@@sdsadventurer Hike on Suzi! I like your spirit!
I loved this hike. So unique! Just beautiful. And I love the music you used.
@@sdsadventurer thanks 😊
That was a great hike. Will have to go back to Custer sometime to experience that one. We have always only enjoyed seeing all the animals.
@@theblueblazebeyond4766 yes Custer has so much to see and do
The West is truly the best! Have greatly enjoyed this series. And when I was a kid, we would go on road trips through Colorado and found that flaky gold mineral everywhere. Us kids were convinced we had struck it rich!
@@AllenManor I’m so glad you have enjoyed our trip out west! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!
Saw so much beautiful scenery on your hikes.. It was at Custer State Park at the Information center where we saw so many buffalo, there were over a hundred of them.
@@beckylilly1540 wow! We just saw the one!
What a beautiful hike and really like the lake area from this state park. Putting this state pak on my travel list.
@@FriskyTheBeaver Custer State Park is definitely worth the trip!
When we went to Wyoming we stayed at a campground in Lander and also visited the Sinks. We didn't know about this hike - what a great find. Early is most always better! And Custer in one of our favorite places. We have been there a couple of times.
The waterfalls were beautiful.
@@FriskyTheBeaver yes they were! We love waterfalls! 😊
What was the best state You like out west
@@garyvickers9474 oh that’s a hard question. I’ve been to every state in the continental United States and every state has its own beautiful places. I guess if I’d have to choose Wyoming is one of my favorite states. I love the variety of landscapes. The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone are two of my favorite national parks and the Wind River Range has a special place in my heart.
You guys find so many great boon docking sites. How do you go about finding them?
@@sandyjustian7873 we use apps mainly ioverlander and dyrt. But Campendium is also good.
You guys are crazy, beautiful water falls.
@@beckylilly1540 only live once!
😂 but it was so enjoyable!
Boy, that dirt road brings back a lot of memories to me, where I grew up at Blue Creek.
@@charmiestarcher9845 I guess all dirt roads look the same. 😂
As much as we love the National Parks in the western states, the shear numbers of people have turned us off to visiting them. When you can't find a parking place for anything you would like to do or see, it is time to move on to places that are just as beautiful, but less peopley ... sorry to have to say it.
@@theblueblazebeyond4766 oh I understand. We usually like to go during off season for that reason.
That last campsite sitting in the sun looked wonderful.
@@AllenManor it was wonderful!
What a wonderful scenic drive you had.
@@FriskyTheBeaver yes we sure do live in a beautiful country! 😊
Down hill is its own kind of hard. Especially on rocky terrain! Like you, every time I have the opportunity to be out on a trail enjoying nature and doing the hard things, I thank the Lord I am able on that day to be able to experience the hard things and see the beauty around me. Many can not and I am so aware of it!
@@theblueblazebeyond4766 amen! Thank you all so much! 😊
Beautiful footage, sorry about your ears!
@@AllenManor thank you! I’ve never had that happen before. 😂
I was wondering how long was How long was your trip to go to all of them places
@@garyvickers9474 our trip was a little over 2 weeks
Beautiful pictures
@@garyvickers9474 thank you!
I was just wondering did y’all put the covers on your fan above your bed? I put one on my camper. I have a camper just like yours and it works out good when it is raining.
@@garyvickers9474 no we don’t use it.
Kristi. I have absolutely enjoyed every minute of your travel. I hated that there was a forest fire!🔥 it was all absolutely beautiful and amazing!❤
@@charmiestarcher9845 thanks Charmie! 😊
That river was so clear!!
@@sdsadventurer yes it was unbelievable!
Still so so pretty!! But fire was a little unnerving.
@@sdsadventurer yes it was!
what a nice hike. Nice Camping by a lake. Glad it was just ear wax and nothing more.
@@FriskyTheBeaver me too! 😂
Wow…I’m blown away by such beauty!! Kristi, you have some amazing footage…absolutely breath taking!! 🥰❤️
@@EasyCookingWithLindaB thanks Linda! The Grand Tetons are one of my favorite places. 🥰
Live in a nice life
The river looks so inviting, especially with our hot weather here! ❤
Tetons are always amazing views.
@@beckylilly1540 one of my favorite places!
Relaxing in/or near a river is the best this as the sun is shining.
@@FriskyTheBeaver yes it was definitely a much needed relaxing day! 😊
What beautiful views you had this hiking trip. Nature is wonderful to be in.
@@FriskyTheBeaver yes it sure was! 😊
Yep. That little Marmot was thinking you had HIM a snack too. The little pikas are cute and the weather can swing wildly and quickly in those high altitudes! And God is good all the Time! Amen!
Their cages are so tiny. And they aren't free. That is so messed up.
Why are the animals so trapped in and not able to roam. Very sad.
Not all Amish homes are like this obviously. But this is pretty.
That hike looks amazing! So proud of you all ❤
@@christymcclure2035 thank you! I truly appreciate your support and encouragement!
Great hike
Thank you so much!
It is beautiful! Thank You, God! Is it just the two of you on this backpack trip? Why does Adam not hike with you? Just curious
Adam naturally hikes faster than Kristi & me and it’s hard to hike at an unnatural speed. Plus it’s a busy area, so he hiked straight on in to the camp area to get a spot we could all be close together.
@@erinpuryear9478 Adam goes at a much faster pace. I think he enjoyed being able to hike his own hike versus always waiting on me all the time. And I was happy to give him that ability. 😊
It was absolutely gorgeous! The scenery in this video is just amazing! Great video.
@@sdsadventurer thanks!
They are thinking that you have a snack they are willing to accept! We have had them climb into a daypack looking for delicious snacks .... they LOVE human food.
@@theblueblazebeyond4766 yes they sure can be aggressive!
WOW. WOW!!!
Breathtaking!! I can only imagine what it looks like in person! I’m so glad you all have the opportunity to be able to do this Kristi.❤
@@charmiestarcher9845 thank you for always watching and being truly excited for the videos. It means so much!
