Wheeling 4 Freedom 2022 - Part I

We found ourselves on trail 16 at Windrock Park for the short first day of the 2nd Annual Wheeling 4 Freedom event. We spent the morning setting up camp, so we decided to hit trail 16 for the afternoon to get warmed up.

DCS Lighting V3 JL/JT Hood Light Install

We did a quick install video during Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam for the DCS Lighting V3 hood lights. These are billet aluminum with 1400 lumen spot LEDs. You can also add in a backlight of your choice of color to run when the spots are off. You can use the discount code BRITCHES at www.dcslighting.com to grab these and another lights for a discount. This event was completely different than any other Jeep event. Animals, RC Course, Vendors, Safari, Obstacle Course, and a whole lotta Jeeps!

The Outlaw Offroad 9/11 Memorial Ride double black group tackled trail 21 at Windrock Park. This was our first time on 21, there was alot of winching on the first ledge, and alot of skinny pedal on the rest of the trail. #ilovemyhemi ~ Carnage

Windrock Park Trail 54a, Devil's Elbow, was a beast. We struggled alot. We kept the video long to show most of the struggle, and only cut out the breaks to discuss how to over come were we were getting stuck.

Warning, there is a lot of struggle time in this video. However we like to show the real life wheeling even if it’s a whole minute and a half of trying. It’s always great to have friends willing to try sketchy things to complete an obstacle. We ultimately ended up winching after trying so long.

Not all wheeling is flashy and hard, sometimes the easy stuff creates moments. This part isn’t hard, but it shows what the experience is really like. Scrubbing and resetting with spotters and drivers talking it out. Plus a good time to practice video skills!

Yeah, but BLD is NOT the same as traditional open diff. It's WAY better.

Just stay on the gas a little and let BrakeLok do its thing. The newer Wranglers are like cheating.
Yes and know, just tech that works and won't break things like lockers.

Lightly tap the breaks, poor man's locker. Is the front sway bar disconnected? More articulation will keep tires planted on the ground longer. Nice try. Next time.

Yea I really hate muddy trails, but it’s always the most memorable trips when it’s rainy! We really enjoyed it, and are thankful for you guys helping us!

I seen y'all commented on matt Brodie's video about the course. I was the guy in the silver 2 door he was talking to at the end of the vid. Just wanted to say y'all did a great job on the course, I even had to do a recovery for the jeep in front of me on the tires you drive over. They slid off and their axle got hung up.. stuck lol. But the course was great. Next year I hope y'all go bigger though! I love a good challenge!

That was with lockers on. It’s no where near as easy as it looks.
@@WheelLifeTV looked like your front wasn't locked a few times before you started the main climb. Glad you stuck with it and made it. I like the obstacle, I did it earlier this year in the rain
