Being the man Kyle is I expect nothing less than for him to be down on himself about Indy. That's why I believe he'll be back and before it's over he will win one of them at least. For finishing 18th he had a much better day than that. Congrats Kyle on a great day that you probably won't appreciate until you hang up the racing shoes for good in 30 years or so. Simply completing 500 miles as a rookie deserves respect and recognition as a great racer.

A couple small mistakes can really cost you a lot at Indy. Wasn’t all bad though. His run from 15th back up to 6th was impressive and a good learning experience for Kyle. Overall just running the whole month without crashing the car is a success for a rookie.

What happened? He wins 1 road course in the rain in 2023 and you all acted like he was going to come into the series and dominate. 2 top 10s, 1 top 5, and his average finish is 17th place.

Pretty lonely and mundane and the the track looks flat, at 220 mph. Kyle makes it look easy. However i know you can’t feel the G’s in a video. The pit stop was well orchestrated. And to think qualifying is pretty much flat out full throttle? Got to be perfect for 200 laps for 200 laps and 3-4 hours The drive thru penalty kill his chances of a top ten or even top five or better. Nice conservative run, saved his equipment and will only get better. Looking for some good things in the future. 👍🏻

you can see how much he gains by throttling on through the corners, he was timid at first but started to get comfortable in the corners.
