My father loved him, and I used to sat and watch his videos with him. Sense of humour has changes, so many things have changed. I used to find it funny whem men impersonated women for a laugh, now as a woman, I feel offended and disgusted. Every time I watch one of Benny Hill's sketches, I remember my father's laughter and having so much fun, I wish I could go back to my childhood and stay there forever.

I think the UK should start a fund. Fred wanted or said he wanted a chimney and top and lighting rod for a grave stone. A fund could buy him a chimney and a Fred weather vein on top.. That would be a great thing for a iconic chap like him.. He always laughed a great life..

He should have been knighted. An MBE is kind of a consolidation prize.

I'm saddened to hear that all the meachical things he'd built etc have been dismantled. I 'm so glad I visited many years ago. I found it amazing his sheds work places. His old jumpers hanging up and loved the oil smell. Then we could go into the house and look at his living room, have a cuppa sitting at his kitchen table. I loved it. You could even stay the night b b. Such a shame. Still I have my memories.

The time, entertainment, work ethics, Fred gave it his all. To think that the British government and the English people have let Fred down, big time. I'm Irish but I had and have the high of respect for this legend, a giant among men. You should all be ashamed of yourself, the way this man is remembered. RIP FRED 🌹☘️🇮🇪
