Great video Andrew. I always thought mols was a weird random unit. Seemingly random that we chose the amount of molecules in 1 g of carbon to equal 1 mole. Looking forward to your energy balance video ☺️
Good Video Andrew! Nice broad overview of some of the pillars of chemical engineering. Math, chemistry, and physics basically covers everything with the exception of economics! Something that will always differentiate us from the pure science ☺️.

@@mathequalsmusic4583 The senior design book we used was great for this! I had to re-read the econ chapters after I was asked to cover a lecture while the professor was gone. The lecture was on the last econ chapters haha (which made no sense without reviewing the previous chapters). That was a long week of reviewing 😅

hey i have a question, what books do you recommend for chemical engineers to read to reinforce the fundamentals of general chemical engineering
Great question. I think perhaps the best book for that would be "Chemical Process Analysis" by Richard M. Felder, 3rd edition. It covers the fundamentals of chemical engineering with an introduction to some basic theory, but a heavy emphasis towards application and problem solving.
