so lovely to find this on RUclips ! I am proud to have been a founding member of the Poozies - but I won't tell you how we came up with the name .... 🙊
I remember this when it was released on CD. Still nice over 20 years later.
Finally found this song .. this was my handphone ringtone 10 yrs ago....
This to me is the best version! Poozies are magic.
dolce musica.Strano mi riporta indietro ......
I listened to this album obsessively as a kid. Then lost my cd, and just recently, 20 years later, thought to look it up. Hearing this now is like riding a time machine
The Poozies and one of my favorite songs, what could go wrong? :D
It's a wonderfull composition from the french accordionist and arranger (during years the keayboardplayer from ORIION) Gwenael Micault: Iff you would like to have the "Music Sheet" just send us an email : productions;ayp@gmail.com
These people had a significant impact on my youth ... can't discount it
beautiful and graceful

as she lay dying, MOM
En cette nuit de lune pleine je lèche mes taches, les nuits noircies des lumières de lunes, nous racontent toujours la même histoire, celle de la vie .
no it's a region in the United kingdon
I grew up listening to this song as a boy. When I listen to it, all the magic of being a child returns. I hum it to my 2 year old son at night.
This was my wedding march music. aahh good memories.
I ADORE the Poozies in all of their incarnations. Their contribution to harp music, Celtic music and other kinds of folk music is immeasurable. They are always headliners at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh.. all of their albums are different and varied.
thank you !
I must agree; I immediately recognized the song from my Clannad Collection; they always created a special sphere for me, from the first time I heard them and I started to buy their CD's. I 'm a massive fan of them. This version has its own merits though. I think I 'm going to like it the more I hear it. It 's a brilliant other version of this song. For its magical sound, I prefer the Clannad version though. The small harp sound is part of that magical sound, as is the voice of Máire!
Interesting, if I hadn't read the title, I would not have recognized it at once: Clannad give the song an Irish touch, while the Poozies sing it Walking song style and the tune is not the same at all. I like their version a lot too, but I find it very different.
"waulking song" was my meaning, the Hebridean stuff, not "walking" which means nothing.
Nice - but I prefer Clannads version - really powerful and driving with the Brennan brothers singing it.
Clannad were awesome before they went all new-agey.
does anyone know the score of this song?
i wish i knew too. but i figured that the chords are Am, G F.
this is one warm glove <3
In this piece he mix 2 differents arrangements. You can find 1 more simple in "Panorama de la harpe celtique" volume 2 from Dominig Bouchaud , and the other more difficult but so nice in "Musique Bretonne pour harpe celtique " volume 1 from Pierre Nicolas. You can find those 2 in HarpeBudin web store. RUclips doesn't want the web adresse ! Sorry !
Its my favorite song off an album called Celtic legacy , A global journey

this is,without a doubt the most beautyful songs i've ever heard
Love this, had it on a compilation album from Narada
