From music to cooking... life has changed!
How would you take 1 single song from Onsong and send to another person that has Onsong. keep the onsong format?
I think this guy taught geometry
He absolutely did! Mr couto was my algebra teacher in 2006! One of my favorite teachers who helped me learn to love math. And yes, he sang this jingle for us in class! Hehe good ol times
@@carrieshields9943 hahaha NBHS? I knew it!
@@s.p.3403 I remember that teacher, he was always a cool dude. I never had him as a teacher but I definitely remember his energy. Class of 93 (Tan House)
@@carrieshields9943 thát's so awesome. Mà Raffa's is the best. Both of them in New Bedford and Somerset.
@@my9goesbang I agree with you. He's a cool dúde.
Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah is a song about a powerful sexual obsession, ennobled by Old Testament references to King David and Bathsheba, and Samson and Delilah. If your woman has you "tied to the kitchen chair," it could be that the powerful hold she exerts over you has much to do with her cooking skills. In Cohen's there is nothing spiritual abouit it and is purely hedonistic. He chose the word Hallelujah to gain instant notoriety and threw few biblical characters to create sensation and attention.. It is not spiritual in view of Judaism or Christianity
if u want to enjoy the most happiest moment of ur life forever in the kingdom of our god as soon.as posible u are welcome to attend worship.services of the true church of christ watch inc tv inc radio

Oh my goodness Mike Couto I just chanced upon this song by you and I am amazed and so in awe! This song resonates so much with the nostalgia I feel about Christmas growing up and downtown Christmas shopping. We never had a car as a family because my parents never drove. We always took the bus to get downtown and back. My Dad died when I had just turned 11. My parents were good friends with the Menezes. Manny Meneze played mandolin, his son John the accordion, Tony Duarte played mandolin too. Christmas 1969 my parents, brother Vincent, and I went Christmas caroling with them to so many Portuguese homes they knew. I played the triangle! They sang Portuguese songs about opening the door and the people would not open it till the right verse. Before we ended the caroling at 3:00am the snow had fallen all around us. It was the best Christmas memory of all shared with my Dad & Mom and these wonderful musicians. Your song should be #1 on the Christmas Charts! Obrigada dear friend🎵🎸🎶🎄🙏🕊
Thanks so much, Rita. ❤️ We always had relatives at the door Christmas Eve. 😊
Rick Kalisz is my uncle in my mom’s side. From my family to you, thank you for this beautiful tribute to him.
So happy that it was meaningful. ❤️
I grew up in Providence, and this made me feel homesick for Christmases of my youth. Stores and streets had different names, but nostalgic nonetheless. Thank you. Merry Christmas!
None better than Mike Couto!
my grandparents own maraffas in somerset :)
It's great to see a video of these two fine gentlemen. I haven't seen or spoken to them in decades. I used to play in a duo called Trinity and we played a lot of the same clubs. And when we had a chance, we would enjoy going to so them play. If my memory serves me (and it's entirely possible that it won't) I believe that I played bass on one gig with Mr. Mulligan. It was a great time! These guys are really nice people and excellent professionals! More videos please!
Well done!!
Brian Brown thanks. 👍🏻😊
A little different on my ipad......got it until 2:59....when I hit box with arrow above.....Onsong is not an option for me ???

Tranquilo....It's amazing how many Azorean are musical. I hv ZERO talents but everyone in my family played ball and played strings.
Tasteful tribute. Out of respect to Carl Pimentel RIP.
The audio level is too low please re-post.
Nice.
So sweet. Congrats.
Cheeky very Irish.
Nice one.
Classic Mike! What happened to featuring the famous 'Portuguese tarts or Madeira Cake or Creme Caramel or Quince Marmalade' ? LOL Adorable and funny I have to admit I had a constant acknowledging chuckle throughout the song. Really enjoyed seeing your 'red white & blue American childhood photos' I can clearly see the US influence. No doubt 'Happy days' for you and your family. As very young kids we got roped into 'Portuguese folk dancing' every weekend for our ethnic community preserving cultural injection. And treading grapes helping our father make wine and port at our Australian beach side suburban backyard for his personal man cave / wine cellar was considered 'pretty normal for us ethnic kids from the old world / Europe' always balancing our family ethnic obligations with the local culture mainly being able to explore bushland or going off to the beach for a surf with friends or playing street bin Cricket etc. Growing up we got use to living in two worlds. Thank you for sharing you and your wife's song it certainly whipped up a whole lot of nostalgia.
Thank you Mike.. beautifully done.
Don Hunt thanks, Don.
Thanks Mike ~ It's like receiving a Christmas present from you!!! Love, peace & Joy ~ Carol Hess
mvy1111 so happy you enjoyed it, Carol. ❤️
remembered you two gentlemen from the ramada inn portsmouth r,i, some great and memorable nights
Mike, this is such a beautifully written song. Brings back good ol' memories of Christmas's past; Woolworth, Cherry's, Star Store, etc. I love the "City by the Bay" and "Hometown on the Shore". I will be performing this at my next gig!!
Thinking of all of you
