A song about what has been called a "gravy train" of money that has been provided to Maori New Zealanders under the "Treaty of Waitangi" Agreement. Many non-Maori New Zealanders have grown tired of all the constant handouts for "Maoris only" Organisations in New Zealand, and after the recent Maori war dance "haka" protest in the Houses of Parliament the entire nation is now having arguments about keeping the Treaty, or scrapping it all together. Some radical Maoris want to change the name of the country to what they claim a wife of a Maori Chief called it, being "Aotearoa". The 2 islands of New Zealand actually have 2 different Maori names already, and always have had. The Maoris never had any form of shared central government system, and were constantly at full war amongst themselves over who owned what land anywhere. The Treaty was actually requested by them to the British settlers for protection from the French who they had attacked, killed many of, and then were eaten by the Maori.

This song is about the Treaty of Waitangi and the present debate and arguments about what it actually means in relation to the Maoris "rights" of access to land, mana, and other "sole use" or ownership that it may or not include. It was interesting to see how the Maori language sounded with the Suno AI generation.
