Hooked up with my friends from Crest Watersports to go ParaSailing. Wind was reaching the top end of their comfort zone and expecting more, so we made a mad dash to go quickly. Summer is not over in Cyprus, the second national sport of wildfire starting on windy days continues. Forecast for 30 knot winds and I was seeing 22 in the marina. A late afternoon fire 'breaks' out and Forestry called in everyone. A total of 5 helicopters including 2 from 84 Sq RAF Akrotiri. As the fire was just over the hill I had front row seats for the water bucket filling.
