I haven't really grasped the concept of morphology (or linguistics in general, since I just decided to learn about it), so this question might be stupid

There are pictures to go along with each example, which really helps clear up confusion. It's straight-forward and to-the-point, which makes it very useful for learning the material quickly. Woah woah, your example of "have" is wrong. This is simply a case of pronunciation that varies from English speaking country to country, as well as the individual, especially those who have different speed rhythms. There's no distinct "v" or "f" sound, if anything it should always be a "v" sound but when we talk faster, the "v" softens to some degree, but again, depending on country, individual etc. There's no rule about when you use one or the other.
