I bought a mandolin a few years back, but plateau'ed early with just a few reels that I stumble through. Wow that does sound better. Nice, man. I was thinking the pegs might make the sound kinda dull. I installed ebony pegs once on a guitar and it took some volume away.

Yes indeed well done Kerry, it's Don here from Hamilton NZ, I had a friend who brought around his guitar to me today,the exact same model in your video ( Yamaha FG 800) and I changed out the Yamaha nut/saddĺe for bone, and oh yes What a Difference, kind regards Don 😊😊😊
