Just found your flosstube and starting from beginning. Wow you are an excellent stitcher, great variety of projects and jumped quickly from 14 cout to linen. Than you showed your quilting...holy moly ! You've got the gift, thanks for sharing , great inspiration. I am so glad you haven't quit flosstube base on current subscription numbers, because it will definelty be sky rocketing.
Thank you so much! The subscribers might go up or not I’m just having fun a few mean comments but oh well lol. I really like linen more than Aida and quilting will always be my favorite hobby I love watching my family enjoy using them when I finish them

I am SO EXCITED you started “Sarah Chapple” with me!!! I was hoping you had!!! I’m glad you told me about the added flower and leaves! This is one of the most unique samplers I have and I love it! I’m also dying to start Jane Atkinson now too. I have the Vicki Clayton silks for that one, but I kinda wish for the DMCs after seeing yours. I also LOVE your hand-dyed fabric! Great job! I very much enjoyed seeing all the projects that you've been working on. Your Jane Atkinson is looking so fantastic - I love that sampler too but haven't bought the pattern just yet. Before the Uffindel sisters charts were re-released, that limited edition book you have was selling on ebay for over $350. I love the stash selling sites too but I got kicked off of Stash Unloading for having trouble uploading some sales and then asking for help because they kept deleting my posts. I'm not tech savvy. I guess they thought it was easier to get rid of me. I'm not the only one, they kick a lot of people off. Those admins are nasty, my daughter looked them up and they talk really bad about people. I'm not usually negative like that. Anyway, beautiful stitching and your aunts embroiderey is lovely, plus that's a lot of work.

We have the same taste in projects. I buy whenever I can off the destash sites too, as long as it is a bargain otherwise I'd buy it from the designer or an LNS. I'm happy to say that Ann Grant is hanging on my wall. That is a real beauty but the tree was very fiddly. My chart was an old one and some of the symbols weren't clear at all so I had to make the tree up in parts, but it looks wonderful. Thanks for the tip on the Sassy Jacks sale, I'm taking a look.
I haven’t looked at my Ann Grant chart yet now I’m curious if mine is readable 🤞🏻 I wish I had a near by LNS but I don’t sadly so Destash or online shopping is all I have.

Doubloon is the called for and it’s gorgeous fabric I hope you enjoy stitching it… the boarder is fun
@@Davis.Quilting.Stitching I have it in my cart. Just trying to make a decision on the fabric. 36 is my sweet spot. I’d rather go smaller so 20 count Aida is looking good. I’ve only stitched on 40 count once and did not like it. May have to try that again.
I started on 14ct but since I switched to 40ct I can’t go back I love using only 1 strand of floss so much lol

Hi from northern Indiana. I am catching up on your videos. I admire you and your husband so much for adopting four foster children, you sound like a very patient parent too! You mentioned Lakeside linen and it is very nice, but hard to find. I've been able to buy some on facebook stash sites but you have to be fast and look often. Also, I love to see peoples haul. Our Joanns up her is still open but I don't know for how long.
Thank you so much we have had them for going on ten years wouldn’t trade it for anything…. I sometimes see lakeside linen on the destash groups but I just never get it because it always seems so high compared to other linen….the Joann’s in Columbus GA is still open but it’s 2 hours away so not a frequent trip I do miss the one that was closer to me.

If it’s some of the hands across the sea patterns sassy jacks has some of them on sale for $10 on their website that’s how I got so many by finding them on sale

I enjoyed your video, you have great projects. I have many of these samplers too. I haven't stitched Charlotte Frost yet, but I do have the Legacy Corntassle linen and I have heard people say it is a very nice linen. Also you mentioned "Dirty" linen for Sarah Chappell. Dirty linen is off the bolt by Zweigart, so it is not a hand dyed.
