Gyros trauma is so overlooked it's likely that based on how scared gyro was of dr Akita that he could have been abused by him and gyro could have been as young as 14 because that's the legal age that you can start interning for someone so it's likely that he was really young when this all happened and it explains why he always defends his inventions because he doesn't want to believe that they are evil out of fear of that happening again. Astro b.o.y.d really explains a lot of gyros behavior towards everyone. I love gyro so much he deserves the world

Abed (Danny Pudi) drove the car in the original version, but in the DuckTales version, I don't think you'd let Huey Duck drive the car, since he's a KID, so I think that's why Gyro was driving the car.
