THIS Is The Best Frankenstein Adapatation (Junji Ito's Frankenstein)
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.Год назад
Today I am taking a look back at the Junji Ito adaptation of Mary Shelley's gothic horror novel, "Frankenstein". A simple comparison between the two, also serving as a narration of the manga. I had alot of fun with this one, go check out the original book and the manga adaptation! Be aware this is extremely spolier heavy if you are not already familiar with the story. Resident Evil: Outbreak NEEDS A Remake // Retrospective

A look back at Resident Evil: Outbreak
I love Regular Show episode Don from there you learn the foundation of Mordecai and Rigby friendship where they’re more like brothers than friends.
@@cgardner85 agreed, a lot of their arguments stem from a very brotherly dynamic too I feel
@ the game of punchies it seems my relationship with my older brother while we’re growing up he was Mordecai and I was Rigby so when moved back home after dad was finished his graduate studies he made sure that we had separate bedrooms, lol. 😂
Fun fact about the South Park dynamic shift. Stan is also shown as getting closer with Tolkien in S26 E6 where they are playing Warhammer 40k together. This is likely due to them being neighbors since S25 E6 and none of his other friends having the money to have their own 40K army. Which further shows how friendship dynamics shift based on proximity and shared interests.
@@darby2314 that’s right I shoulda mentioned that!

This videos amazingly edited and structured very well, RUclips finally giving the good under rated channels a chance?
Why are so many amazing videos getting unnoticed by the algorithm! Im gonna share this video around with MY friends! :))
Thank you!!!!
"It's funny, when you look at people through rose coloured glasses, all the red flags just look like flags"
What is funny is that in the scene where they draw the turkey on the map of cape cod one of the points is in provincetown massachussets
I never seen Mordecai as a bad person but someone who makes bad choices. He had self-esteem issues in communication with expressing his true feelings with others and plus he didn’t gave himself the proper time to grieve the breakup with Margaret. Bottom line Mordecai is the type of person who been trying to do the right thing but doing it the wrong way.
Tbf even tho he broke up with cj which he didn’t mean it because he was trying to say he likes her it still doesn’t justify him for hijacking’s muscle man’s wedding
Putting this in my favorites playlist
I think inside job did a pretty good job with this. With Reagan and Ron, she really wanted to be with Ron but she didn't follow her own wants because she genuinely cared for Ron.
@@corpselady that’s a good example too. Inside Job getting cancelled is a travesty😞
This was a great video man! Just subscribed!
Oh wow! Watched this without realizing how few views and comments there are. Can’t wait to see what you put out in the future and how you continue to improve
Very well put together video. Earned yourself a new sub keep it up 💯
Ooh similar to Simon and Betty. Bobby and Connie from KOTH had a mutual breakup. They maintained a healthy friendship afterwards though.
Great video. Hope you keep it up and get the recognition you deserve.
@@MachoMii Thank you!
I swear to god I'm getting tired of these "That time south part did" videos holy shit there are so fucking many of these
They're an AI content farm

nice
the Native Americans Likely Behaved like the Gazans, Gazlighting the Colonizing (Buildin) European Settlers all the time looting stealing etc.
A fundamental point that I feel this video doesn’t make is “what’s your point?” I understand this is explaining a South Park episode that is doing a satirical take on the history channel while parodying Thor. But that’s all it is? If the point is that it’s “inappropriate” or “unethical” then I’d say it’s because it’s South Park. It’s a parody, it’s meant to be over the top and ridiculous. If it’s because “I need to explain to people why it’s satire.” I’d say “people should be able to understand this”
I feel like I am going insane, are they all human? Are they all AI? What is a human?
Dope video man :)
Great video, Keep going
Thank you!

Ahhh man... words really can't describe how bittersweet it feels seeing the Outbreak games left in the dust, as well as how they were the last 'hurrah' of the Raccoon City era and classic-style RE before the series changed gears with 4, and mind you, I adore 4. What makes the the most sad about Outbreak being forgotten and barely getting any mentions in the RE Engine games is how I always felt that game did an _AMAZING_ job further fleshing out Raccoon City and just how the T-Virus outbreak was turning the place into more of a monster-infested death trap with each passing day the virus festered. All the locations we saw in that game, from completely new and original ones like Jack's Bar, the Apple Inn, and Arklay Hospital, and Raccoon University, to revisiting familiar locations from 2 and 3 like the RPD Building and Raccoon General Hospital, thoroughly expanded upon and fleshed out the city, all while the newfound secrets we discovered in those familiar locations really did feel like secrets Leon, Claire, and Jill could've discovered if they more thoroughly searched around. In general, I really just loved how the Outbreak games revealed so many cool and unique locations scattered throughout Raccoon City while showing off just as unique monsters and mutants created by the T-Virus, with the instances where you encounter Tyrants or G-Virus spawn feeling even more memorable as a result. Of note, I really feel like the Outbreak games helped make Raccoon City feel like just as fleshed out and memorable a location as the town of Silent Hill, giving us the sort of lore and extra details about Raccoon City at large that we gradually learned about Silent Hill while playing through the original Team Silent Tetralogy.
Cold Hearts sounds so good honestly.
Radical review 🔥
Raccoon City AKA hell on earth
Some things are somewhat explained a little bit by finding sp items (or ad-libs), Yoko alone has a lot of them about her past and they're not even exclusive to her (any character can find most of them), I also remember she can find a picture in the second game where she's with Monica. Since it's so easy to miss, might as well 'spoil' it: Yoko was an umbrella employee who donated base cells which were used to create the T-Virus, seemingly without her knowledge. She was horrified when she found out, and the blonde guy from the last level (Greg) somehow messed with her memory, and so she basically spends most of the game(s) with amnesia. She can occasionally comment on things such as saying "I've been here before..." at the beginning of the umbrella lab level, or "I've seen that thing before" after encountering thanatos in the university's main hall. She's finally able to remember fully towards the end of the second game and is seen testifying against umbrella along with another umbrella scientist in her good ending In general though, these games have little to no storyline, and instead rely heavily on lore (both focused on the game itself and Raccoon City/the RE universe in general) 13:38 Oh and these are gamma hunters, the ones from RE3. I suppose you were lucky when you played but they can also grab you and swallow you whole if you don't free yourself quickly/you have too little HP
Loved it. I'm still not sure how I feel about Frankenstein not being the one to destroy the second body
I quite liked the Gold Keys comics version back in the early 70's.
Manica was trying to steal the virus and sale it I figured that out at a young age
Tbh this the best real resident evil this and 1
Tragic story through and through
As if capcom is ever going to listen to the community
I still play this game, but I remember playing it when it came out and I was still in school what an absolute blast was lucky enough to play it online with PS2. It’s in my top five favorite resident evils
It’s super under appreciated for sure
You can buy the jap version of ps2 and still play online
The more the algorithm recommends these 'side' RE games, the more I'd rather have them remade (or even available) over RE5. Having Outbreak as DLC for Re3Make would've at least made it a lot more redeemable (I actually forgot about "Resistance" even being a thing) Scenario 4 slightly hints of some "REC" vibes, or at least has the potential for it if it was given the tone of RE7 Hell, we've been so fixated on the RPD for so long that the firefighters in this game really seems like they have an interesting, 'unsung' story to be told
I hope we get something in the same vain as an outbreak again, “Resistance” and “Re:Verse” are so weirdly miscalculated. I feel like if we get Re5 directly after Re4 remake, we’d be straying from the franchises horror roots (again). I’m definitely hoping we get something a lot more atmospheric and slow after Re4 remake (which I liked a lot).
You can even find name tags next to their dead bodies (Len and Charlie iirc), and beating the level with them in your inventory is part of the 100% requirements
😍 "Promo sm"
im sorry but no it does not. not at all. its perfect the way it iis and iif they remade ii, itd be full of the same old jargan we got from the previous remakess and mosst likely be parted into 1/4 with the rest being either a seperate game or god forbid DLC
Great video and good editing. Would you consider playing again but online on the fan-made servers, or at least make a follow-up video talking about it?
I wouldn’t be opposed to covering it again in a different way! If I did it wouldn’t be for a while though. Either way im definitely doing Outbreak 2 sometime in the future. Thanks!
Needs a remaster***
This is the one adaptation I need. It's brilliant.
I highly recommend it!
@@scinta we need it as an anime
@Fantastic_Man4444 true this would be fire 🔥
saw the title and already agreeing with you!! ✊
dropping this tidbit of lore since it seems like you might not know but when a t-virus zombie gorges on a lot of biomatter it triggers a mutation into a licker. that's where they come from. the half-licker ay the end of hellfire is only partially transformed. if you like you can extend that to the rest of the lickers being skinny and missing theur external bones as well. i've always just thought of it as the scenario occurs early-on in the outbreak so you're witnessing lickers as they first started to appear.
That’s interesting, I didn’t think of it that way
Was reading through the comments to see if someone had told the person where lickers came from.😂
This is the beginning of something great…
Capcom could do it but RE fans never fail to rag on every multi-player RE attempt so it negatively reinforces them to put less effort towards MP. To do it right would take a heavy investment and Capcom has no reason to believe it'll work in terms of public demand.
I agree, even if the fan base wanted it, I doubt it would sell well beyond the diehard fans
