I doubt it to be honest. We need a good dump to open more and it's currently only light snow forecast for Friday into Saturday. You can get between the 3 villages but as of today Monetier is the only village you can actually ski down to, it's gondolas back down to Chantmerle and Villeneuve. Briancon gondola and runs are currently closed.

@@paulshanesmith Thanks for the reply! I can see they're doing quite extensive snow making on the slopes down to chantemerle on the webcams. The Briancon sector is supposed to open on the 21st and can also see they're doing lots of snowmaking on the red piste down to the village. Yeah the snow forecast isn't looking too promising at the moment but there are still plently of slopes they haven't opened which have snow making available. I've just got my fingers crossed that they will try to open them along with the Briancon sector on the 21st haha. Does it look like they're going forward with snow making in the mid mountain slopes you can't see with the webcams? I'd love to see any other footage you have on Serre Che as well. Thanks Paul!

In my opinion the nicest place to stay is Chantmerle, that's one village along from Briancon. If your beginners the area at the top of the gondola from Briancon is good and Monetier has a nice beginner area too.
