Children of Bodom were the first metal band I'd ever gotten into, and finding them was such a stroke of luck. I had gotten up early one morning to go to school, turned on the TV before getting dressed, and what was on? Headbanger's Ball. The video? Needled 24/7. Alexi Laiho altered the course of my life that morning.

My god this was a flawless performance. I still can't believe...

I feel so sorry for Jaska. He and Alexi started this thing, and Alexi just couldn't get his shit together. They had to leave, and now he's dead, and he can't change that.

No! Not dead yet! Legends never die!

Dear Alexi, rest in peace. :( Thank you for unforgettable moments in my childhood. :(
