First the century university apartment is a big joke. There’s s shooting here everyday residents complaining to no avail. If your package gets to you in one piece then you’re lucky. Packages get stolen all the time and management does nothing. Management has just gotten worst. They don’t pick up calls. Corridors unclean, rude management except the technicians are amazing guys. You pay expensive rents and the Clubhouse is $200 for residents. Better go somewhere else. Unfortunately i cant post pictures of community chat.

Yes, I think it was a good idea to get a weekly ticket, especially for first timers - it saves you having to ask every driver "where are you going, how much does it cost" - so, it makes things so much easier.! Don't forget, if you want the same ticket for ALL of the UK - every train-line imaginable, THAT ticket has to be purchased in dollars BEFORE you come over, and you bring it with you. Then you can start right away at the airport.

If you did your research, you would know you are wasting money purchasing an oyster, when you can use contactless visa. The Elizabeth Line is still the Underground and there has been Billions spent on upgrading the underground, you only seen a very tiny amount of it... Heathrow isint technically London. The plugs are not European they are British and unique to Britain. Britain is not European cultured. You can't use plugs in the bathroom brvause it's 240v and the condensation will kill you. Hatton Cross is Berkshire, though is under the London Borough of Hillingdon, it's not London and does not have a London post code, I found it disrespect and ignorant calling the underground dirty when you was only using outside London connections. Try using the Upgraded jublie line. Different world altogether. Though the Rjvet Thames is actually filthy but it is 30 million years old. Though I may come across negative I really glad you had a nice time. It was just some constructive criticism that I mean well. All the best.

Those two buttons over the toilet both flush, but the big button is for a long flush, the small for a short flush. I'll let you figure out what situations would cause you to need a short versus a long flush! It's to conserve water. I'm not going to dwell too much on why you would think an American hotel chain in England would have American electric sockets, because; quite frankly; that just disturbing! Those were British sockets (also used in some other countries around the world), not European. Although that socket behind the telly did look like a standard European socket. Our 240V electricity and water don't mix well! That's why you will only ever see specially adapted shaver sockets in our bathrooms, and will only ever see a chord in the bathroom to turn on the bathroom light (or the switch will be just outside the bathroom). It's for safety reasons. Hopefully, you now know that an Oyster card isn't really necessary and that contactless payment methods work in exactly the same way as an Oyster card. Simply tap in and out with a contactless credit/debit card, Apple Pay, or whatever. There can be benefits to having an Oyster card in certain circumstances, but you can research that online.

The underground can be a nightmare, but I think it’s unfair to call it dirty. Some trains are old but it’s an extremely reliable and great service
