Lovely bike in the best colour. Id love one to go alongside my v11. Theres alot of wind noise on the recording - think you need a fart screen on the mic .
@@markanstey2654 hi Mark. Thanks for watching and commenting. I agree with the audio quality. I sound like Darth Vader and there's far too much wind noise. Excitement got the better of me so I posted the video in spite of it.
Same Guzzi, snap.! You are going to love her.
It would be nice if it stopped pishing it down so I could take her for a proper run. Thanks for watching. More to come soon.
@@oxfomoto, will be interesting to see what you do to yours that we've done to ours..and see if you've done it for the same reasons.,😉
I've got a my 2021 Evocative Graphics Rosso (Red) Uluru, and I love it Both of us are very lucky to own such a beautiful bike! Greetings frome Rome
@marcotavani8491 si certo Una Moto bellissima! Thanks for watching Marco. One day soon I hope to ride to Mandello del Lario on a Guzzi pilgrimage
A very special and brave video just keep riding and smile 😊
@@stuartsharpe5513 thanks for watching Stuart. Always riding, always smiling.
What battery? Oem? Lithium? Brand???
@@phantomshtter it was the original battery. Problem was using the other bikes battery.with jump leads that had been attached the wrong way round.
I had two Grisos...an early one and then an 8v. Lovely characterful bikes. Sadly, I found that I couldn't rely on them. Rain was a particular problem resulting in low-loader trips back to the dealer too many times. Pity. Great fun, good looking, impractical bikes
@@howardgraff4084 unlucky. Touch wood, my Griso has been solid so far. I rode it 2000 miles in 4 days and was surprised how capable it was at touring. Not sure if I could have it as my only bike but I love having it as part of my harem. Thanks for watching.
Why didn't you put a bike cover on it when you parked it up?. A lovely bike that should be cherished.
Thanks for the comment. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I never intended to but I had other bikes to ride so it was a case of out of sight, out of mind. I promise it won't happen again.
banging vid dad
Brilliant. great taste in music
Thank you kindly!
Love the look of these bikes, the whole KTM cam shaft thing makes me nervous about owning one
@@MickHargreaves-g7r there's a lot to like about them. I've had no problems with mine so far (6k miles). Cam issue and KTM bankruptcy are a concern but I don't think about it when I'm riding.
I'll do a review video of it one day
I like the Spanish pylons with big nests!
Would be good to hear & see you more often. Cheers
Thank you. Comments like that make it worthwhile. The next video will be more cheerful, I promise.
Thank you
You're welcome.
A brave video, blokes don’t find it easy talking about how we actually feel. Overcoming our ego is sometimes very hard. Once we open up to someone, it’s actually quite easy to let it flow. I had a little a wobble a couple of years ago. An accumulation of being exposed to lots bad stuff. Had some councilling and stopped drinking. Boom, much better and found myself able to talk about how I felt with people all around me. Getting out and about on the bike is a great help and as you said it gets you talking. There’s a lot of good people out there, cracking video as always. Keep it up and keep having adventures.
you sound like your from the midlands mukka
@@thepeakybiker not far away. I'm in Oxford
Thanks for this. Just popped up on my RUclips suggestions. It was me on the KTM 690 with the Yellow and black backpack. Great Video!
Thanks Andy. It was a great event. Did it again this year, only for my CRF300 to get hydro locked going through a massive Yorkshire puddle.
Where did you get the gps files from for this great video by the way
We were staying at llanerchindaa farm and they gave us some routes but it was mostly the TET. Thanks for watching.
This was fun. I enjoyed the music too and all the laughs. I’d love to do this trip, although I’ll need some training first. I subscribed to see more.
Music is always subjective but I try to make it relevant to the video. There are plenty of people who will help you to get out on your bike and share experiences like this one. Go for it. Life is short.
Great video! How’s the power delivery on the 701? Considering an upgrade from the 300L but I’m worried it may be too much bike 😅
There are 2 maps and TC so it can be dialled back or go like stink when you require. I sold a CRF to get the 701 but after 18 months I knew that it wasn't right for the riding I was doing so I've bought another CRF. If you've got an itch, then scratch it. You won't go wrong either way.
Hey, thank you for the reply! Would love to know what made you go back :)
@@mandreachefai For the riding I actually do compared to the riding I thought I'd do in my head, the CRF is just a better proposition. I'm 54 with kids still at school. I don't have the time my dreams thought I had to go on month-long adventures to hard-to-reach places that require top level suspension and 74bhp. The CRF will go anywhere the 701 can, more slowly and more cheaply but with a smile that's just as wide.
A thousand gates per day, and a million sheep - I love riding in Wales. Very scenic, at least in sunshine. Those long puddles are something we don't encounter in Bavaria. Enjoyed them last September on my Beta Alp 200. Hope to return this year. Your small wasp (CRF 300) would munch the motorway miles from Germany with luggage, while the Beta needs a van. Happy Eatser, Günter/Nürnberg
The bike could munch the motorway miles but my arse couldn't. Thanks for watching!
#Voge300R Drop the rear sprocket to 44/5T and everything is happy. If you want more - add Powerflow a big filter and De-CAT the exhaust 🔥
Enjoyed watching that Pete - great trip Cliff
Cheers cliff. I might make some more one day
Really enjoyed that, really good editing and soundtrack
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
awesome vid, do you have the track id at 6:40?
It's circles by Adam F. Thanks for watching
We did it last year for the first time and loved it. We are back again this year. See you in Spain
Plus I’ll bring arm bands. The red pig is strong 💪🏾
Tet wales looks like mega fun. Will try it next spring.
Cracking video and edit.
Is it a lemon? 😅 you look like you're enjoying yourself on it quite a bit. Great video 👍
Thanks for watching! And the bike is still going strong.
Great video! How do you license the music?
Thanks for watching. I don't licence the music. Just download it and add it to the images. Copyright issues mean that it won't get shown in Russia but I can live with that. It would be a different story, I imagine, if enough people watched it that I could monetise the channel. But that ain't gonna happen!
@@oxfomoto I just noticed how some vids show music credits, with links, like they're authorized or something. I'm not worried about monetization either. Had a couple restricted in Russia myself.

Hiya, great vid, I’ve just subscribed, I also have a Husky 701. What device are you using for Nav, and what app. Thanks, Richie.
It's a Samsung galaxy active tab 3 running drive mode dashboard 2.
nice one guys, my advice is use mousse - no punctures 🙂hey where was that brilliant lane that took you ages? llandovery ?
Yes just outside. Strata Florida was a piece of p!55 in comparison. Thanks for watching
Great video. Rode the Clearwen Dam myself a few weeks ago. Video is on my channel. Was told that Strata Florida was too deep at the time. Looking at going back soon to attempt it on my Africa Twin. Can I ask, Is your username based on where you live, Oxfordshire????? as I also live there and always looking for people for rides out and tips. Keep the great content coming.
Thanks for watching. Yes I'm in Oxford. Look on Facebook for Oxford adventure riders. They do regular ride outs for big bikes. Strata Florida has to be done but only when the conditions are right. See my video when things don't go as planned.
@@oxfomoto Thanks for the info.
@oxfomoto I tried strata on my mint new all the options crf1100L dct! I went from the bomb hole start. Got to the 1st water crossing and didn't like the look of the rock formation, so I turned bk! She's no Starbucks cruiser, I love the fosse and ridge way! Hoping to do salisbury soon! One thing I've learnt as a sports bike rider turned adv is, off road is a work out and a half! Being a fat unfit hgv driver....its fun, but hard work! 😂
Absolutely banging vid! Well done 🙂 Might have to try and get over to Wales... bit far from me, though!
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment. Wales is worth it.
@@oxfomoto I'll get round to it one day. The problem is... I'd have to ride back from China! ha ha. Like I said... bit far 🙃
Hi mate nice vid 👌 I’m lucky enough to live on the TET just outside Llandovery so get the pleasure to ride all the time. Quick question what tablet and holder you using?? I’ve got a 690 with rade garage tower coming next week and your set up works 👌 thanks
Hi Matthew, Thanks for watching. I envy you living in such a beautiful part of the world! The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Active Tab 3 in a Brodit passive holder (brodit.co.uk). I'm running DMD2 beta paired to the Carpe controller and it's brilliant. Still a bugger to see anything in bright direct sunlight but you can't have it all! Pete
Great video. It's brilliant when people flag up how amazing Wales is, but please please stop with the lazy tropes about SHEEP. It's not funny, and the Welsh people that I know don't like it. Respect them and their land. It's like Americans who think all English people live in rain sodden thatch hovels. I'm moving to west Wales soon and can't wait to get out on the TET. Ride safe.
Hi Mike, Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. As for the sheep, it was a privilege to watch the sheep and lambs being rounded up as it was something I'd never witnessed before, probably as the farmers of this area have done for many generations. It was not meant to be disrespectful in any way. I love Wales and visit it regularly and wanted to show those who have not ridden there what a beautiful place it is. But there's no getting away from it, there are a lot of sheep and by extension, gates! Enjoy West Wales and the trails.
Did I notice you're using DMD2 for navigation I'm thinking of trying it myself and of course Wales never fails. Enjoyed watching 👍🏻
Hi Peter, thanks for watching! Yes. It's the DMD2 beta and it's great. Constantly updated and the developer is super responsive to user's requests.
i trying to buy 990 adventure at present . i had 950 one but always broke down so dubious about newer one . should i be ? mamy thanks
Boring
I've seen a few washed away like that on the Welsh 2 day Enduro.
I'm looking for a good bike for a beginner to do a trail like this. Does the little Honda struggle to keep up?
Absolutely not. As a beginner, you cannot go wrong with a CRF300. as you get better, you might want to improve the suspension but otherwise it's a fantastic little bike.
@@oxfomoto Thanks! Good to hear from someone with actual experience. :)
@@stefanhansen5882 yeah I owned a CRF for about 6 months. I've been riding a long time and felt I needed more power for the road. My mate bought the CRF and he's gone everywhere I have. If you watch my other video where he had a bit of a mishap you will understand why I rate the bike so highly. It will just keep going no matter what you throw at it.
ruclips.net/video/U0w_IiN2Pho/видео.html
No mishaps? Were we on the same trip? My poor bike bounced it's way around the Pyrenees ... often on its side
Good adventure, thank you! Cheers.
Thanks for watching.
That crossing is always dodgy even when there's a little bit of water. Bet that was a brown pants moment seeing the bike being taken away in the water. Fair play to you for having a go though.
1st reaction was to laugh but then shit got real. Thanks for watching.
Wow a proper dunking that! 😬
Best laid plans and all that, pity that the weather turned out so bad 🤷🏻
I know, what are the chances? Wales in November. ;-)
lol... one look at the speed of that water and I'd have turned back... takes balls to give it a go (even though it didn't work out). Unimog to the rescue... you're not the first vehicle saved by one and definitely won't be the last.
I didn't take balls, David. It took inexperience and stupidity! But all's well that ends well. Thanks for watching.
That’s exactly where I went down but luckily it was only a couple of inches deep….. the rock bed there is like ice and catches so many out. You can see my fall on my video.
We're gonna have to go back and finish the ride but maybe when it's a bit drier.
@@oxfomoto Certainly when it's drier. I have to go back too, to complete the Welsh TET.
