only spent 32 hours on this game at launch. listened to this station every minute, and the result is fond memories even to this day. Looking forward to giving this game another shot sometime soon!

I was in Monongah way back when the game was new, and only in my mid 20s. I was investigating it at first, but then realized I was out of my depth, as I was not able to handle the Mole Miners that plagued the town at the time, and right when I thought I would be able to get clear, a damn Scorchbeast showed up. This was before they were nerfed, so there were constant shrieks and explosions going off, and I was only in my mid 20s, so I was no match for it. I managed to hide in a basement of a house in Monongah, as the scorchbeast and a bunch of scorched laid siege to this small hideaway. At that moment I realized the background music was really loud, and wasn't helping the situation. So I quickly opened my Pip-Boy to turn on the classical music station to not have boss music blaring at me as I fought the scorched and planned my escape. Imagine my amusing irritation when I turned it on, and it was at approximately 0:27 into this song... It did motivate me to just book it though, with a literal army behind me trying to kill me. I did escape.

The first time I heard this song was while walking through the Mire, a swampland of dark shadows, at night, knowing that nearby there would be creatures, monsters, and cryptids nearby... Is was oddly the most fitting song
