Very nice build and paint job on this. Some techniques I will certainly try when I start working on my T55. What conflict did you use as inspiration or is it your interpretation of a well used T55 during an exercise during the Cold War?

She's a Beauty

I LOVED EVERYTHING but the chipping. Somehow it doesn't seem convincing. I know Japanese paint was crap especially as the war was drawing to a close and their planes showed lots of wear and chipping but this doesn't seem quite right. I hate to pick at a model that was done so well, I think that the dry sponge does a better job when used very judiciously. Again, beautiful work but for that....

I'm getting ready to start on this kit, next week or two. Loved your video, have it saved to a playlist and will refer back several times I'm sure. Is there no way to have the engine panels hinged and held open? Do not see it as an option in the instructions, asking more if you think it is possible? The ZM 1/32 Bf109 at least has three panels I can open to display the magnificent engine.

So with all this attention to detail why does it still look like a model? What can we do to make it more realistic? Is it just the scale problem?

Lights on the right wing are not blue they are GREEN and always have been. I have no idea where modelers got this blue anti-collision light stuff from. I am a commercial pilot and an A&P mechanic. I have spent a lot of my flying years in the war bird community and I have never seen a light on any wing other then red, white or green.

I swear the Concussion Missiles for the Core Fighters in MS Gundam were reworked Shrike Anti-Radiation missiles from Hasegawa kits.

Sayla Mass went from a combat medic to a competent Core Fighter and G-Armor pilot quickly during the One Year War. Guess it helps having that Aznable/Deikun Newtype DNA.

The Amuro and Sayla figures are pretty good quality for soft vinyl. I just hate the giant seams they have. I got an Ortega from the Black Tristars figure with an MG Rick Dom and those seams are atrocious.

That's about a $130 Hard Graph diorama kit. Great work. I got the Ramba Ral and His Old Lady by the Zaku Head kit years ago for 80 bucks.

OK, I’m curious. Why the circles of tape at the window edges under the straight border strip? 🤔 Most people tend to just cut around the edge profile.

Great video! I learned a lot from it. Suggestion: frequently you showed off the detail of your work (like the engine) and you would CONTINUALLY move it around to show it. I’d much rather you show it by NOT moving it around for a few seconds and let MY eyes move to where I want to notice the details. It was very annoying and not helpful. Excellent camera quality. Personally, I’d rather have your commentary of what you’re doing, problems, solutions, products, etc than the music. Overall very good video. I became a subscriber. 😎

Very nice build. Like the Raiden Jack. Would love ZM also would release a Tony in the future. ZM kits are not easy, but truly wonderful kits. Indeed require skill and patience. Very rewarding packages. So much love for the subject and details within.
