You know, last night after I posted this I went to watch some other people's videos and checked IG and seen everyone else got stickers in their boxes where the COA was at. HaHa. Mine must of been packed up right as the lunch bell was going off and he forgot to put them in. It's all good though, at least they didn't forget to put the most important part inside the box haha. But I'm loving the smooth jet black finish. And couldn't agree more these are absolutely well worth the money. And the more I carry it and use it, it feels like it's breaking in so smoothly.

One of mine had 2 stickers. I must have got yours 😂.

How do you like them? Do they seem to last longer for you as well? I know I have used a few different brands over the years but the Lenox Golds seem to stay sharp longer by far.

Yes, this will take the utility replacement blades (that has the 2 slots on the top to lock in) that the majority of the Utility knives take.

@coreysuttles1362 I have herd of the SOR Tactical Gear Bags a couple times but I personally have no experience with them. I might have to look into trying one out to see how it holds up. Thanks for the Sub and I'll be having another Video out hopefully this week of my "Extended EDC Truck Bag" !

@Roninforged Awesome! Yeah I'll make sure to get a rundown on the truck & stuff I have with me at all times. But it's gonna have to be once it gets a little bit warmer haha. -5° is not fun to be in longer than 10 mins if you don't have to be. But I agree I like to see what others have in different parts of the US and how they use gear differently.

@Roninforged Alaska huh, would love to make a road trip up there some time to see the Northern Lights. I guess our cold days down here are nothing like some of the cold days you guys probably get. Would be interested to see your load out as well on the truck since I'm sure it would be a lot different than mine just based off of Geography Location.

I feel like if I'm gonna work hard for my money, I want to make sure I'm spending it (mostly) on items that have multi use. 1) Could use to get home in a Grid Down Situation. And 2) More importantly it's stuff that can be used throughout the year and not just sit taking up useful space in your vehicle.

You are correct, and I do have 2 others in my truck that are out of the package and ready to go. The only reason I left this one in the package is to keep it clean ( and sterile ) because it's in a pocket that has tools and a knife that I use for many things. But thats a good eye. 👍🏽

@lelandphill4408 No I have not found a situation yet where the finish was to slick. I use this 7 days a week, wearing gloves, and bare handed. In the rain, in the snow, and when it's 100°. I do have to say the Black finish looks super nice! And I'd probably would of got one. At the time I ordered mine the original finish was all there was available. Plus if I'm using it at night time, and for any reason I drop it I like the TI color so it stands out. Or if it falls down between something in a dark area it will be easier to find than a Black in IMO* But either way in all honesty I would say it's well worth the money. -DJ

@zoltank.7411 Thank You! And sorry I just now seen your message. The cleaning mat at 7:05 came with the set. I do not believe you can buy it separately unless you find someone who is reselling the one they got with the kit.

@IShaderI I also carry an EDC knife daily as well. The Ti-Rant is my work EDC, and I would have no problem using this Razor as my Daily EDC as well. Correct, the only cleaning I would do is wipe it down, and a couple of times I used goo-gone to clean off any build up of glue & tape where the blade goes in at. I have not used any lube, and this being the first time I ever took it apart, I inspected the bearings to make sure they didn't have any build up of dust or dirt and they looked to be pretty clean still. As of right now I wouldn't recommend using any lube so it doesn't attract and hold dust. I know there's dry lubes out there that some people recommend for knives but I haven't used any yet. I would say the first week of using it, it broke in and every since the action has been extremely smooth and fast. One handed use to open and close and never had an issue with it sticking.

@giorgosbatzakis135 To be honest, I have not tried to sharpen a convex grid on here. If I had to guess from what little experience I have sharpening a convex edge, you have to rock the knife along with the sharpening stone or use a belt so you don't get a flat grind on it. Now, someone who is better than myself might know how to do it on here? But I would say it would take some playing around to see if it is even possible. If I can find a convex blade sitting around, I will give it a try and let you know.

I never used the original one to be able to comment on it. Since this video I have been very busy with work and have not had free time to get back to use it. But I do have about 4 knives lined up to put some use on this sharpener and see how I like it to give a better review with my opinion on it. I will put it up next to the other sharpener I have also. But from the two knives I did sharpen off it I personally didn't have any issues with the clamping system.

@@_DJ708 Specifically try some regular bladed Spydercos where the blade gets smaller from top to bottom, and also from the back to the tip. The KME knife clamp adjusts both ways for this. But the KME system has other problems. The clamp is not one of them.

@Bob Dayton Thanks, I do believe I have a spyderco sitting around. I will make sure to try in it and see how it holds. I can see what you mean by where it tappers down it might not have a solid grip on the knife and could cause it to wiggle.

I definitely like the character it gives it now. When I let someone see / uses it and they look closely and admire it, after I tell them the cost of it I follow up with how I ran it over with a forklift multiple times. They normally don't believe me till I show them the video haha. I'm still using the original clip and its still holding up great! No problems and never falls out of my pocket. This pen is 100% worth the money in my opinion if you use a pen daily.

@@mayanalien Thanks, yeah I was surprised as well after I bought my first one and never seen a review on them. People need to know how awesome these pens are and I figured why not show them how durable they are too. My next thing I plan on doing is gonna be anodizing it and seeing how it'l turns out.
