The white DRL on these is designed to only come on with the factory DRL. So it would only be on during the day, with the truck running, and in any gear besides Park. HOWEVER, if you install our DoubleShot harness, it will keep them on both during the day and at night: sparksmith.com/products/doubleshot-harness Not sure what to tell you on the high beam issue except to verify polarity of the plug. Beyond that, it sounds like a warranty issue that you should take up with whomever you bought them from. Hope that helps!

Replacing the flasher or flashing the ECU isn't always possible (some 09+ Ram trucks, for example). More importantly, the resistors only heat up when voltage is applied. So unless you have a Toyota that uses the turn signal as a daytime running light, they will only get intermittent power during each pulse of the turn signal. Which means.... wait for it... they don't get hot at all!!!!

While I didn't specifically mention it in this video, that is something I do take into account. In fact we had tried a different set in these same headlights and light scattered everywhere. So I took those out and ordered five different bulb types until I found this one, which gave a much better, OEM like output with no more glare than the stock halogen bulbs. We take that stuff very seriously here at Sparksmith.

Could be that the turn signal plug is backwards. Or the 2-pin JST plug going to the resistor on the back could be loose or broken. If you purchased them from us, please email support@sparksmith.com for further assistance.

That just means you have constant power somehow going to the turn signal circuit. These strips will not light up a solid amber. They will cycle through the amber sequence even if there's continuous power applied to the turn signal inputs. If your turn signals are not on and the strip is still running the amber sequence, it's possible you have a defective strip.

Yes, all the bars shown here come with a plug & play harness. The white only bars with no turn signal function come with a fuse tap to get key-on power. The rest of them come with our Sparksmith exclusive plug & play harness designed by us specifically for these trucks.

Thanks for your question. For the white running light, you will need to apply 12V+ to the solid blue wire that does to that 3-wire extension with blue, white, and grey. The white running light gets ground through the black wire with a white stripe. So be sure to ground that wire or that white running light won't work. The reverse light gets power through the white wire and ground through the grey wire of that same 3-wire extension. If you can't find that light green wire, there's one other way to get reverse light power on a truck like yours. There is a fuse in the underhood fuse box labeled TRLR B/U FUSE 10A. If you tap into that, using one of our ATS fuse taps, you can get reverse light power from there. I hope that answers your question. Please let me know if I can help further. Thanks!

It's built into the headlight assemblies. The DoubleShot doesn't actually have any affect whatsoever with the animated version of our LED headlight assemblies. It's for the static (non-animated) version so that the white DRL bars stay on when the headlights turn on.

I just unplugged them, for now. I really liked them. May end up buy another pair and hope for better luck on those. BTW, the wire i used is 18 Guage If it helps. Thanks love your stuff

I believe so, you would just need some sort of splitter. Unfortunately, we don't stock them, so I'm not 100% sure how they connect.

These will be brighter than just installing LED bulbs in your factory side markers. And yes, they'll blink with the turn signals.

Not sure how to make it simpler. The black wire of the new harness lines up with the black wire of the factory plug for all three plugs. 3-wire to 3-wire, 2-wire to 2-wire.

Second gen S10 and first gen Colorado, yes, the Silverado PnP harness will work. 1st gen S10 and 2nd gen Colorado would require adapters/modifications to the harness. But it's something we'd be happy to do! Just email support@sparksmith.com
