Awesome thanks! I've been interested in this for a while. I have an Emerald playthrough that I'm 100%ing and I'm really struggling in the battle frontier with my Latios, as it was caught in Ruby so has literally 0 IVs in 4 stats apparently. I think they fixed this in Emerald but I'm not restarting this file, and I don't fancy buying another $200 Emerald cartridge just for a Latios. I want to keep my Emerald cartridge as safe and legitimate as possible so I've been thinking of doing something like this where I create a Latios with a better IV spread, put that in Ruby, and then trade it over to Emerald. My Swampert and Metagross IVs also suck but at least those I can improve in the game without any external too. Learning Explosion is a pain though, I have to either have another Emerald or a FR/LG save that hasn't used the Explosion move tutor yet so I suppose I can transfer a metagross to PKHeX, teach it Explosion from there. Cool!

When I try to load my SAV file onto pkhex it says Binary is not compatible with save file. Is there a way to fix my SAV file?

Can you change your main trainer ID #?? Not just change OT trainer # for a single pokemon or so. I mean change the actual main Trainer ID # on the save file. So if you started emerald as "Brendan" with a 90543 trainer ID. Can I change that # and reupload the save file with the new ID #, let's 12345? Hello, I was wondering how can we use Pkhex and/or PokeGlitzer in order to get hexadecimal data of the pokemon we made ? Because we can enter that hexadecimal data as box name in pokemon emerald and trigger ACE and generate the pokemon we want and i think it's so cool ! Any details/ info will help .

I don't think the GB Operator supports unofficial cartridges, unfortunately. I only have bootlegs of the Gen 3 games, and I'm unable to play the game within the Epilogue Playback software. Additionally, although I can export a .sav file from them, I'm pretty sure it's a junk file; PKHex doesn't know what to do with it.

You should check out Sam's Journey Famicom Edition and an HD-938 or HG-938. I don't know what they are calling them now. I see Mischief Castle, Orange Island and Piopow are coming out soon as well. I love Ohsat Games Kid Bubblegum and Chibi Ninja Shino Kun for PC too. Great games.

I really love my Epilogue GB Operator. I just picked up From Below Pocket and plan on picking up Kudzu, Dragonyhm and Zephyr's Pass Digital Versions. I really like Geek Tech Batterless Save Cartridges as well.

I got myself gb opterator and put one of my pokrmon game but it come up Unofficial cartridge. when I go into there is only backup game. backup save upload save when I go into pkhex (20231011) alert Binary is not compatible with save file current SAV Generation 3. how do fix this

The reason adaptability would be perfered over swift swim would be for teams outside rain. Reason being it proposes a more immediate threat and doesn't waste a slot for a pokemon to set up rain. Edit: choice band on teams outside of rain would be pretty bad. So Scarf would be preferred. Male would be jolly and Female Modest or Timid

Kinda off topic question, but can Pkhex help with verifying if/when a save file from a copy of Emerald has been modified? There’s a seller who claims to have a legit Japanese Emerald with an unredeemed Old Sea Map. They got the Wonder Cards and everything. Curious to see if they just injected it or if there’s a way to check legitimacy. Thank you!

Hey yall! Just a heads up this won’t work with unofficial cartridges, just tested it. Also, you’ll likely have to find an older version of the PKHEX software somewhere online. For some reason the one linked here cannot read binary. I couldn’t find it on the official project pokemon website but I’m sure you can find it by searching like I did! Wish I could post the link here but cannot due to community guidelines. Hope this helps!

So youre talk about setting the pokemon to "Met: As Egg" to avoid legality issues, but I dont see you actually changing anything?? Ive been pulling my hair out trying to find out what youre talking about... After mentioning it, you dont even click the "Met" tab at all, and I cant find an egg option in the drop down menu there anyway. You also dont even touch the "Is Egg" checkbox either, so that cant be it...theyre also holding a lucky egg??? lmao I knew that wouldnt work but i tried it anyway. None of it works. You must be doing something because clearly the legality checker is giving you confirmation, I really dont get it...please tell me how this works

I might buy this operator because I have all my Pokémon gba games are official as real games. I glad that having all of them. I have never sell nor threw away since I was a kid. I’m still a good trainer for them.
