I saw these guys in St Louis at The Union Station in '93 just within days of this show...I was blown away when I found out how young they were.....they were opening for John Mayall OR The Fabulous Thunderbirds.....(I can't remember which)...I saw both there

Thank you for this. There was a lot of great music in the late 1960s. I was around 20 and had been a "roots music" fanatic starting around age 6. I bought a Canned Heat record and loved it. But then, they disappeared. I didn't give it a lot of thought. Good players and singers came and went and sometimes come back again. Then a few months ago, RUclips started showing me these Alan Wilson videos. I had not known of his untimely death until then. I am sad that that happened. I am happy that some people have kept his music alive.

I was lucky enough to see the red devils in 93 perform in my hometown in the bar where I was stage hand on the night be4 they played the pinkpopfestival in Holland and was hooked ever since, then I saw 13 on my first Moulin blues festival in Ospel in 1998 and sadly Lesters last gig but what a gig! That year also played the Hoax and I remember feeling ecstatic! Best f@#$ing night ever!! And picked up the harmonica soon after that such an inspiration still! Love this footage never seen it be4 thanx for placing it!!
