I like what they did with Claire and I think her purpose for this season was to be carmy’s love interest, which is ok because she is not a main character. I think Claire was a representation for Carmen’s happiness and his ability to be happy which is why they broke up during the freezer scene bc it was a demonstration of his constant self-sabotage of his own happiness. Idk what they will do for season 3 but in 2 Claire was there for Carmen’s development not necessarily for her own which i think is ok bc we learn enough about her through their relationship.
