Grasmere School and Nursery - a small school with big ambitions, in the heart of the Lake District. As we are small, every child is very important to the life of our community. Learning how to live life to the full is what we're about: "Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive, but to be young was very heaven," as William Wordsworth put it. Confident, aspirational children are what we nurture. We love to be out and about in our locality, learning in the outdoors, and engaging in worlds outside the classroom.
