This was written for his late wife, who died just a few days after his brother. The whole thing almost let him retire from music altogether. But his 9 year old daughter made him promise at the time to continue. So after a long pause he came back with an album that is very emotional. And this beautiful song makes me cry every time. ❤

The guy in the first clip was literally sucked towards the train by the air current. If the train would have been any longer, the guy would have been killed. That was incredibly dangerous and stupid of him.

Pure Floor. I love this song. Btw, this song was Floor's pick for a single, it made her cry when she first heard it (I had the same reaction to this song, it's so touching). Tuomas lost his father a few years ago and he wrote this song out of that emotion. The message is to enjoy life, as it's beautiful and should be celebrated instead of grieved when it ends.

My grandmother had to burn our house anf our barn down, by herself when Soviet Union attacked Finland and therefore started the Winter War, and WW2 all together. Our grandfather was in the military already and our house and our land was only about 5 km from the borders of Soviet Union. My father was just a child during ww2, and he lost 2 of his brothers to an Soviet attack, and both of them are actually buried in the soil of the Soviet Unions/Russians side. When Soviet Union came to an end my father and his brothers wanted to visit their brothers that where buried in the old City of Salla. The new city of Märkäjärvi bacame the new city instead. But sad enough the church and all these burials didn't give my farther/relatives any mercy in their souls... This song is written by Tuomas, as a ode to hes Father that passed away in 2021, Floor sings absolute beautiful on this, and Troy joining at end, perfect!! I lost my Father 6 years ago, and my mother 5 years ago, listening to this, will bring me memories of them, and a song of sadness, beauty and hope at same time, its a song i would consider a masterpiece, love it!! This was the first song Tuomas wrote for the new album Yesterwynde

Anyhow though You can see many smiley faces here, e.g. my Father´s family had around 2 hours to take with them 1941 (continuation war) and nothing heavy. Karelians are in their nature smily and full of humor nature. Finnish Parliament took very good care of all Karelians...eventually all of them got a home + e.g. my grandma + 3 children. Karelians are very social etc...I am very proud to carry 50% Karelian genes. My Father was taken by The Angels of Heaven just 3 weeks ago. He was The kindest and the best Father in the world❤
