Bowling on SUPER BURNED lanes...

I try my best to do some "decent" bowling on these horribly burnt up lanes. The results are not good ! Playing on burnt up lanes is generally not fun, but I at least get some 10 pin bowling practice in! Decent practice session 20 November 2022. Seem to be getting thumb out first now (most of the time anyway!). Game ended on 175. I was happy with the result! Good luck to me for tomorrow's league match!

Another major issue I noticed is that my slide foot is mostly pointing to the right. I've already corrected that, and am pointing it more toward the target. I had a very good league night last Monday (1 may 2023) keeping in mind the slide foot, proper targeting, and perhaps a bit of luck... High game was a 209!
Have you had you span properly fitted at your pro shop. The way you are releasing the ball appears as if your span is not correct.
You are 110% correct. I have no pro shop unfortunately. The ball I'm using here doesn't fit my hand properly. I've got another ball since this video, and have added tons of electrical tape to the thumb hole. My release has improved (since this video... ie more "up the back") but even my current ball is not drilled for my PAP. Thanks for the comment.

My balance at the fowl line is generally TERRIBLE in this video. Balance is one of the most important things to get right in this game... Wish me luck for the next League Night!
