Your music always touches my heart the songs that I hear that reminds me of the love that my husband and I shared means so much. We were together almost 50 years he passed away from cancer and he’s been gone now over seven years! I know will be together again one day in heaven! Before I start my 'tirade' of sorts I will make a few things clear 1. I loved this railway 2. The volunteers are dead on people and I don't have a bad word against them I loved this railway as a kid when Tyrone and Shane were around and honestly the new tram is rubbish and doesn't really give the feel of the original tram. People who run a heritage should know the steam is the main draw to a heritage railway and most rail enthusiasts despite the tram and what it stands for. It's a shame that 'tram' gets to gallivant about while the two steam engines languish in the shed gathering dust, which they have been for a least 7 years. The current management is a joke for not allowing Tyrone and Shane to be rescued by people who will actually care for them or be overhauled and return to service. The management also fails in looking after the line properly. I want the railway i knew as a child back not this milkfloat monstrosity or at least for the management to properly consider moving Tyrone or Shane to be rescued by another railway.
