First this will give the video more rhythm, also it will help you make shorter takes where you can just say the part that didn't work well and get to the next part, but be sure to do it right. what does your tick speed need to be at for it to work? it'll start working for a second but immediately stops for me
In the video, our tick speed was 3. I haven't tested it with other tick speeds, so you'll have to play around with that. Let us know what works!

@@theeasilymanipulated Are you on Java Edition? Also, make sure you are facing in the south direction as shown at the beginning of the video!
@@theeasilymanipulated I actually just went into the same world I used in the video and tested out the glitch while facing different directions. It sounds like the problem you are getting is in fact a result of facing a different direction. Make sure the farm itself is facing north, but you are facing south when looking directly straight on to the glass of the farm!
They fix the glitch of Trading books and bookshelfs 😔
The glitch doesn't work by itself anymore, but as stated in the video, you can use hero of the village and curing a zombie villager to lower the price, putting the glitch back into effect (and cheaper at that!!)

posting this as a regular comment incase anyone else asks, this is what i think is happening: when he activates the tripwire the first time, the tripwire hooks cause the trapdoors to return to the up position, which allows the water to flow from it's centerpoint, outwards, destroying the string, which then deactivates the tripwire hooks causing the trapdoors to return to the down position where they block the water from spilling out. the update is happening so quickly that the string detects that it has been destroyed by flowing water, but the game does not realise that the tripwire should stop being there, and thus because the water is no longer flowing the tripwire returns to an "untripped" state, which once again returns the trapdoors to an upright position where the water can flow sideways again and it's doing all of this in like, 2 ticks. so it's a fault with string break updating before tripwire-state updates.

basically the game gives the loot of breaking the tripwire but forgets to remove the tripwire string-entity. thus allowing duplication.
