Pretty cool! I always say plants do natural in vitro fertilization all the time. We see here a monoecious plant (two genders in the same plant) that needs the pollinators like a bee to get the pollen from the male and transfer it to the female for fertilization is just so cool how natures works. I love this! I love that the community love our cat fam. Maximiliano is imitating Isabela so much, he talks lots, likes to be carried like a baby, sleeps when she sleeps and as always eats sitting on the barstool like her. Isabela is Isabela the mischievous 😏 girl always demanding attention and talking nonstop and Cordelia the Queen, surprising us every now and then with some play time with Max and as always demanding to have everything her way. I have many videos of them. I’ll post one today for you to enjoy, since you asked for them. Hope you and the fam are doing well. Well wishes to all!

Hi! Congrats on having a tall Norfolk Island pine tree! The way I would recommend to propagate it is by cuttings or layering. Cuttings would be the easiest way. When the tree is tall and big is better to not try at all to divide the trunk because you could affect the root system and loose the whole plant. Hi! Thanks for your comment. I see you also love plants. There’s so many awesome varieties of Asparagus. The Asparagus falcatus always reminds me of the leaves of bamboo, they are more elongated and thin. The sprengeri shown here is short and bushy, the plumosa also shown here is very thin and with lots of ramifications. They are all from the same family and can easy be confused. Hi! I have not seen many pollinators attracted to this tree, the trees that get the most pollinators including lots of bees in our garden are the chaste tree ( this tree gets lots of bees, that’s why we planted four of them close to the orchard for more pollination) also the butterfly bush is a classic tree that attracts butterflies and bees and the one that people usually don’t think of the holly tree ( they get full of bees in spring, that’s we transplanted four of them to the orchard). 100 percent not recommended for a person that cannot have a high caloric intake or increase a hyperglycemic state. There's always modifications to the recipes, therefore instead of sugar use stevia or no sugar at all and just enjoy the fermented sugary juices of the fruit. The same cobbler can be done with fruits that are naturally sugary like pineapple, therefore if a diabetic person would like to recreate a recipe like this it can be modified, and they can enjoy it in small portions and following the medical advice of their primary care physician and/or specialist. Hi, glad you found this video informative and congrats on having your own awome Norfolk Island Pine. If you see that your plant at the end of the branches is still producing new baby leaves these should be a lighter green color and very soft, plus the overall feel of the tree when you touch the branches feel soft to the touch, then the tree is in a good state and the middle branch that has turned brown could be just a stress episode showing up now - like for example a period of overwatering or not watering that induced stress on the plant, the plan survived it but still suffered and is now showing it. If the overall plant is not as described before with new healthy leaves forming then theres a current stressor. If the soil is hard to the touch it needs water to be moist, it should always stay moist. If the soil has to much water and it has a bad smell to it like egg then is getting rotten roots due to overwatering it, remove from pot and replant. The plant needs 6 or more hours of light, just keep her in a sunny spot remember this is a tropical tree. She is a strong cookie so she wouldnt complain for direct sun, less sun can kill her but direct sunlight no. Hope this helps, I am no expert so just sharing from my experience.

Hi Ami! Since graduating high school I used to live in apartments until we recently moved into our home and let me tell you I grew lots of food in every apartment window or small balcony. You can grow almost anything if you have access to a window, a pot with soil and your desired plant to grow. In our last apartment we grew the fig tree that is now giving us fruits, as well as one of the pear tree that is giving us fruits and lots of lettuce, kale, tomatoes, basil, and so on. Hope this inspires you to grow food.
