By Popular Demand ;
• New Harmonic Modes : Sine Clean, Fold Clean, Fold Over
• New Multi-Band Gate which is part of the compressor section
Gate has 3 modes off / Classic / Parallel (closed == dry rather
than silence)
Lock Gate allows user to stop gate settings changing when
flicking through presets.
• New Max Gain feature to cap the amount of gain the Compressor
section can apply.
• Stereo / Width Module improved with better differentiation of wet
signal leading to better stereo coherence.
Menu contains a fallback to legacy behaviour
• New, higher quality Linear Phase crossover.

Do this if you get Match Failed! TLDR - make sure you have audio playing in both the A and B streams, otherwise the match will fail because there's no audio to match. Where to place it in a drum buss/individual channel chain?
what does it do?
Metric AB enables you to check your mix against other mixes by loading audio files and toggling the A-B button - instant comparison. this helps you understand if your mix sounds as good as other tracks. You can also use all the analysis tools to understand your frequency content, loudness levels and stereo image. Why can't I just the reference track from any point? It's so dumb. I don't want your stupid sync or anything, I just want to select a point on my reference track, and when I press Space, I want it to start precisely from there, and when I press Space again, I want it to just stop. Is it that hard to understand?
first of all, what a rude way to ask for help (you could just ask nicely or read the manual) - 2nd - all you need to do is change the playback mode to CUE (or LATCH), and then you can set Cue points to start the track where you please. Use the DAW transport to start / stop playback - have a nice day.
Why can't I just start the playback from any point, I don't want to bar sync it, it's so stupid...
you can start the playback from any point, it does not have to be a bar - you just position the playhead where you want to start it and click the SYNC button on Metric AB - and that's it....

@@yigit_kuru Sculpt has way more options , Hype is more for a quick result. Sculpt is complicated , Hype is easy. I am not familiar with Izotope

Thank you for the update! However, Soundcloud's free streaming codec is 64 kbps OPUS, not 96. I reported that in 2020. Not that it really matters since 96 or 64 is still bad.

Does the FX on the master buss affect the reference tracks? does it go last?
Yes - Metric AB should be the last plugin in your chain, after all your mastering plugins. This way, the reference tracks will not be effected by your mastering chain.
